But you got to understand one fact that Indians are very conservative and strict that they don't get interracial marriages. Hence, they are able to hold their heritage believes and values to date, unlike Africans.

Indo Caribbean’s have been through absolute hell. Probably some of the worst things have happened to indo Caribbean’s. To think indentured slavery ended only a century ago (1917) is insane.
My grand parents were indentured slaves and my parents grew up pre independence. My mom and dad told me horrible stories about them having to hide from the British army and how the British sparked the divide between Afros and Indos.
Some say once in Guyana everyone was considered equals. After all we all had to come together and fight for freedom. I hear so many old heads say long ago there was no indo and Afro there was Guyanese and that’s it. This is where “One people, One Nation, One Destiny” comes from.
We need to come together like we once were.

Gandhi was a kaala angrez and his loyalty was towards the british throne. He deliberately delayed the independence of Bharat / India. He was recruiting soldiers to fight for the britishers and at the same time he was preaching non-violence nonsense to Hindus. He is responsible for the death of millions of Hindus with his non-violence nonsense. He was a hard core muslim appeaser and was always protecting them. He allowed the creation of Pakistan and Bangladesh and begged g-hadis not to leave for Pakistan. Gandhi made sure that the policies of the british were continued through Nehru. Hindus are still paying the price for that.

At 2:20, how did these people come from Pakistan and Bangladesh, when those countries did not exist in the 19th century. In fact, even India did not exist until the British unified the different chiefdoms, principalities, kingdoms, castes and tribes of southern Asia. India was a geographical region such as the Sahara desert or the Amazon forest. Even now, India is a single country only in name. People in one region of India don't understand those from other regions. They don't look like one another, often even remotely. The Indian government has no choice, but to use the English to communicate with everyday Indians.

YOU LEFT OUT AN IMPORTANT ELEMENT. Most of the people of Indian ethnicity in Trinidad & Tobago have been blended with other ethnicities, contributing to the country's diverse multicultural society. My ancestors from India were already mixed with Irish when they were brought by the British to the West Indies during the days of slavery. They willing left India to escape the caste system in India with never to return to that in return to a better life in the Caribbean. It's a pity that with such a rich & wealthy film Industry in India like Bollywood, there is still so much poverty on their streets and more so it should be the #1 role model in the world to rid racism & colour of skin & the caste system after so many centuries.

Free Electricity, free grains(rice, wheat, pulse and cooking oil too), money from government to build house who don't have proper house, free water, free cooking gas,.. And also we got reservation in every government sector for jobs and promotion... Unlucky u that ur forefathers never returned.. Now india is reclaiming.. It's a 5th largest economy.. Soon going to be thrird... Their is lots of opportunity here in indian, its 3rd best country for startuo ecosystem. Only after USA and china, 4 biggest stock market, 4th largest car manufacturing, largest 2 and 3 wheller manufacturer, 2 largest mobile manufacturer, etc u name it india is in top 5 list in every sector... Either it's manufacturing, information technology, or advance technology.. Like space exploration, artifical intelligence, etc... That's why whole world invested here..
And u talked about poverty.. Their is 1.5 billion people here so is next to impossible to ericade 100% poverty... Ur world Bank and imf published report last year they say india almost vanished extreme poverty from their country.. Now only less than 3% people are in extere poverty..
If u use logic .. Than go compare ur country with india even country also has some. Percent people who are in poverty.. Maybe it's biiger in percent

Please read about the Industrialisation period in England - the process of enclosure- and the potato famine of the Irish- A similar policy was implemented in India then that brought famine to India every decade by their farming policies during the British period. The caste system is prevalent in every society today, they call it a division of labour and no famine in India after the British were kicked out.

Your comment smacks of ignorance and hatred for the country of your origin/ your Swadesh/ your Motherland. I could see how you've fallen for propaganda about caste by western media. Caste is not even a Hindu word, it was introduced by Portuguese foreigners as "casta" and maintained by British who ironically have an aristocracy and love to look down on others but nobody talks about that right? They only love hating on India and Hindus and I'm sick of it. I'm so proud of my Swadesh for the strides She's made after the devastating effects of colonialism. Did you know the British stole TRILLIONS from India, including the crown jewel, the Kohinoor? These should be returned. Did you know Winston Churchill caused millions to die from the Bengal Famine in the 1770s when he diverted resources for his troops? Yes, Bhaarat India, once a prosperous country with cities and castles paved with gold became poor under the British. Such slum-like conditions of which you speak did not exist then. And you're spitting on India for not being able to overcome centuries of devastation and invasions fast enough for your liking? Ask colonizers to return their stolen loot first. Also, if caste system was such an issue, why is Narendra Modi from so-called Shudra class the Prime Minister, and why is the President a Dalit woman??? Who can explain this? No one. But, people like you like to bash India, even worse when it's your own Motherland. So unfortunate. Anyhow, Bhaarat is poised to be most developed nation soon and hosted G8 summit recently. Know your facts.

Being born in another country does not mean you don't have ancestors' blood running through your veins. You should find out the real history of what your ancestors went through instead of being ungrateful. History books tell a lot of lies and teach Indians to hate themselves. If you don't know the truth about the past, you'll always be caught in a web of lies. I wonder if in future when you have offspring or grandkids and they say they couldn't care less about you and your life doesn't matter, if that will be fine with you? All I can say is, the wise will learn the truth about the past, but if you choose to remain ignorant, that's your choice. Don't belittle those who are trying to learn.
