    The flyhall fc610 is still king in budget rc. 1/12 scale with metal parts plus center diff for as low as 86 dollars at banggood. It's a great platform to upgrade from.

    Hi, I found your channel while searching for a good cheap RC. I haven’t really been driving RCs since I was a kid like 30 years ago.
    First of all great videos with good info, I really like these “top X videos” that compare different ones.
    In the last list with all type of cars you had the Wltoys 144010 as your number one would you still say that’s your top choice of cheap RCs, or is the mjx 162xx your new favourite in general?
    I’m looking for one to get started with again and one to drive on more or less random places so one that is good on all terrain types, which would you recommend then?

    • @beyondRC
      @beyondRC  Před rokem

      cant go wrong with 144010 or mjx hyper go brushless. both 3s capable out the box, fast and durable

    I own the FC600 16889 pro clone and waiting for the MJX 16208 to arrive any day now. I have such an infatuation with these small knap sack rc cars. They are hella fun anywhere you go. The new MJX brushless with clipless body, bigger battery tray, adjustable links, seperate esc reciever, 4200kv brushless motor for under $120??? Whaaaat? I know that im gonna end up ordering the buggy or truggy next lol

    Why you should buy a hbi for around 150 if you can buy the ftx tracer for 80 and is the same truck. Bought the ftx for my son and it's durable and a lot of fun for the money.. but anyway great review of the cars.

    ncie video, i really like the top one, just 1 question, only fits the modular bateries that come with it??, or can use alternative like the ones that some use for the wlt 144001?

    • @beyondRC
      @beyondRC  Před rokem +1

      Originally on the brushed hyper go it was modular only then a lot of people complained so they released an updated ESC which allows for your own batteries. Both the current brushless and brushed now allow the use of normal batteries.

    How does any version of MJX Hyper Go compared to HBX 16889 in term of reliability or perceived build quality?
    Looking for cheapest and reliable 1/16 truggy for my 2yo daughter and I'm interested with the cheap FTX Tracer (I believe it's the same model as HBX 16890 which is almost similar to HBX 16889) you have reviewed not long ago but I never find these two brands compared.
    I saw few more videos regarding MJX broken after few run but never found the same for FTX / HBX but then most of the videos of FTX are at least 1 or 2 years old.

      I have the flyhal fc600 from Banggood it Is exactly the same as the hbx 16889a pro, but heaps cheaper I launch the thing off bmx jumps daily for the last 2 months and am yet to break it. I also have a mjx hypergo buggy and a hinge pin came loose and I had to super glue it in place on the first run hope this helps. both cars are insanely fun

      @@BtotheMill thanks for your hands on feedback! I've heard or read some issues about MJX quality but I assume it's because the car is more popular and have consistent branding compared to plenty rebrand of HBX/FTX models.

    Hello! I've been watching your videos for help buying a first rc truck. I'm scared of lipo batteries though! Was thinking of storing in a tin in the shed 😅
    Are the chargers that come with these decent?

    • @beyondRC
      @beyondRC  Před rokem +1

      Dont worry so much about Lipos! If cared for correctly they are extremely safe! Just keep them in a lipo safe bag if anything they are cheap and will be very secure. The usb chargers are not the best but they get the job done for starters. Anyone thinking of staying in the hobby i always recommend a proper mains powered charger upgrade so that the cells are balances properly. Cheers and good luck with your first truck !

    Hi folks dont always believe the hype, believe me these arent all they are made out to be!! Ive had a Hyper Go Brushless for less than 6 months now and to date the following breakages and this isnt even giving it a thrash whatsoever and running it on 2S. 2x front bumpers one metal one plastic, 2x diffs, 1x front upper chassis, 2x wing, 1x front steering cup, 1x servo, 2x wheels, 1x ESC mount, 1x servo arm, 2x shock towers f+r, errr think thats it. Still not a bad little car but certainly isnt all its made out to be by all the "neutral honest???" Reviewers, but still for £100 not a bad buy I suppose, oh and parts are a pain in the arse to get unless you buy direct from China or pay inflated ebay seller prices. You decide😀
