Thanks for this information gathering. It makes me confident of the motivation behind Palantir, which appears Karp sincerely wants to contribute to democratic freedoms. I'm not sure what power huge data sets will give Palantir in future, whether it may be a kind of power that corrupts but i'm much more assured that Karps' motives are pure patriotism and the nurturing of democratic values against fascism and Chinese aggression and i think he's a stable personality that will stay true to the vision. As for the investment side, it makes me confident about owning the company.
Thiel i'm not so sure of. He has a bolt hole here in New Zealand and New Zealand citizenship, why? for the coming armageddon apparently. He's such a bright guy so what would I know but i find that strange thinking, based on what current facts? It's not Cuban missile days.
Many people didn't see Auschwitz or the Gulag's coming either. The US is not a democracy, it is a Republic. Once it moves a pure Democracy, Racialism, Communism, or Fascism, it will no longer be the US. Hence why Theil is in NZ. Although, not sure that was the brightest move as it sounds like all Western counties are doomed, especially for the white ppl living in them as they are now getting hate from their own government the way the jews were in 1930s Germany. Guess what comes next. I don't think Karp is all that Nationalist, he is just anti-China. He is a self proclaimed Marxist, NOT left of center. Good luck America.

I want to know what kind of career/jobs he had his entire life until palantir and how those have shaped him. Honestly not getting all the same good vibes from him as others. I appreciate how he wants to make products that hold the government accountable (or disallow them from blatantly breaking the law) while providing a valuable service, but something about that isn’t lining up.
I think it is safe to say that Karp would have denounced the ICE before he had a contract WITH them. That doesn’t make him bad. Just a capitalist rather than a self-proclaimed socialist.
Our company took 3 years to build, much like how my hair would take 3 years to comb.

Listening to Alex Karp and how disjointed he is, one understands why the company hasn’t been profitable for over a decade.
I love Karp and PLTR but it’s just too funny that he didn’t transition his joke. He said “it was the quickest fastest way to be unemployed...” and then said “and that’s what I’m trying to with PLTR”
But then again... that’s true. We won’t need employment thanks to shares of PLTR
PLTR is heading back down to the lows again now that they kick Microsoft and Amazon will be a good chance for PLTR to take all those contracts and 8B dollars

Considering the Biden administration continues many of the same immigration policies (if not harsher) of the Trump administration. I find Karp’s concerns laughable. Otherwise a very interesting man.
