He then dives into some numbers about the Lakers' offense that have him a little nervous about the state of things. They aren't shooting as many free-throws. They also aren't hitting threes. And they aren't generating extra possessions. That's a tough combination.

Zac lavine averaging 21 pts a game at 33% 3 pt shooting, not sure he is what we need. Id rather get vucevic to unlock AD, that might be a better gamble!

If you strictly look at numbers D'lo averaging 17pts a game at 40% 3pt shooting this season. BUT I dont know, does he have any real impact during the games? His defense is pretty bad, which gets highlighted even more with all the injuries. He also has pretty low bball IQ IMO, he is not a point guard but is playing one on this team
I think thats one of the main problems with this team, everyone is playing out of their normal position, Lebron should be PG, AD is a PF but is playing centre, Dlo is a shooting Guard but is playing PG, Prince is also a guard off the bench but he is starting as a wing and getting cooked
I don't think his iq is low he's not the one throwing the ball out of bonds like he's drunk or nervous sometimes they make him give the ball to ad when he can't get open that's the problem dlo has never been a defensive player he's only the 4th option if you can't get a better player for him you might as well keep him instead of over paying for guys that won't take you any further trey young doesn't play defense kyrie doesn't play defense demar derozan doesn't play defense devon booker isn't a good defensive player and all these guys make way more than dlo but nobody says anything about it because it's not the media narrative
So if his defense is sooo bad then why isn’t it reflected in any of his defensive stats? It’s like everyone wants to single him out strictly because he is the most unsupported of the team. Reaves defensive stats are worse, turnovers are higher, and his shooting has been bad. AD has his up down moments. Lebron’s decision making in crunch time has literally lost them 3 games this year. But all anyone wants to talk about is SOMETHING D-Lo isn’t doing. Gets old and sickening.
