Bcz of one spread low quality vedio from one black SA guys. Sky rubbed the ground during running and bcz of frictional force the grass comes off. Some soil and grass plugged out that's why it made confusion. It's completely correct catch and it's grass. Sky feet is ok. No one expert in commentry box like ponting Pollok, Steyn is ok with catch. Not a ex cricketer claim against it neither wisden, fox cricketer claim it. Bcz it's fear. No one cares what some black afrikan fan or some pak fan claim

Initially I thought the feet of sky touched the cushion but it actually not. Don't trust on some 4s vedio which spread on social media from wrong angle to creat more misconception. Watch the whole vedio then zoom both angle which has been shown and do it scientifically analysis step by step with time. You can watch it many times.
      1) There was a white border line of blue cloth. You set a point of that white border line from start point and end point as a straight line. And then try to watch zoom vedio from both angle (not one angle like some SA fan spread). From left angle it is clear that only that white border line of that blue cloth could touch his shoe bcz it was border line and in front. It's will be clearly visible that some grass is infront of that white line but that white line is bit behind of that substance and that intact from left to right as a whole. Basically, bcz of that grass plugged off quickly it creat confusion. But that white borderline is some distance behind from that grass and that feet could only touch that white line. No cloth was on the ground initially. It's stand vertically. It's blue cloth with white border line. Then some grass comes off and liked like it vibrated. Again, I am saying, Initially that cloth was vertically stood tall and it had white border line. When he left the place that some external substance (clearly glass) is in front of that white line but that white line looked straight like initial state from left to r8 just the grass cover the small part of it from that angle. It will clear you the whole thing altogether. You can zoom it from start sports. Don't believe others vedio why will watch you worse possible position. It's bit of understanding in depth, concentration and bit of physics. Thank you

Some people are thinking that his feet touched the cushion from LHS angle who has no idea that it was parallax effect effect btwn the shoe of sky, bottom of cushion and the grass. 1. A fielder may reach over a fence, a railing, a rope, or a line of demarcation to make a catch.
    2. When the ball bounces off the wall, the team on defense tries to catch it. If they catch it before it hits the ground that is an out!

If player going outside the boundary is considered out then there must be rule if both feet touch the ground inside the boundary while ball in hand then that's a fair catch, just like NFL. In case of sky catch both feet touch the ground inside the boundary. Btw hawk eye provides 3 different camera angles for all the replays. What we see on jumbotron is not what 3rd umpire gets in his feed. That is just one of the camera angles.

That angle (LHS) is prone to optical illusion. The other angles (RHS) show he was far from the rope and It was green grass which plugged out. The banner on the rope doesn't move at all, the soil (with some grass) does. From LHS, It was merely parallax effect effect btwn the shoe of sky, bottom of cushion and the grass. Clearly some grass comes off which is clear from RHS angle at high quality vedio and that made confusion from LHS angle. Initially I thought it touched. But actually not. There was a white border line of blue cloth. You set a point of that white border line from start point and end point as a straight line. And then try to watch zoom vedio from both angle (not one angle like some SA fan spread). From left angle it is clear that only that white border line of that blue cloth could touch his shoe bcz it was border line and in front. Also it was vertical cloth with white border line and stand tall. Now watch it carefully slowly from left side angle at high quality zoom: 1) when his feet was not close to that line (where he could touch) there was no external substance initially. 2) when his feet enter to that point his shoe rubbed the ground and some external substance comes off which is grass. Now prove?????? Follow the distance from any virtual point (nearer at the ground) to that white border line and when sky left that place you follow that distance. Also there is no vibration on blue cloth.
    2) Now from another angle for RHS::: You can follow it from star sports highlights that it's clearly visible that some grass comes off and flies over that white border of the blue cloth and feel on the ground but their is some milimeter distance btwn that white line and those grass. It will clear you the whole thing altogether. You can zoom it from start sports. Don't believe others vedio why will watch you worse possible position. It's bit of understanding in depth, concentration and bit of physics. Thank you

It's a parallax effect btwn the spike of sky, the grass and the bottom of the cushion (white line). If you watch full vedio and zoom from both angle it's some grass plugged out and comes off in front of white line of blue cloth (cushion). More clear from RHS angle. You can check it from icc uploaded vedio or hotstar. Some pak and SA fan spread a vedio of 3 sec from LHS angle with in appropriate zoom angle and poor quality vedio. Too make more confusion. That bottom of cushion was 1 or 2 cm behind to touch the shoe. It's grass comes off with some soil. Parallax effect. That's why education is important.

shaun pollock explained it that it was out. It's all about ICC playing condition. No one SA greatest like Steyn Smith claim it even SA skipper. Fox cricket (post against india most of the time) and wisden cricket not claimed about it why???? Bcz it's fair. One bowler is on the mark then the cushion is the final boundary. In many games ropes are used to shifted bcz of change of pitch. First: It could be same (white line and rope) from the start of the match. Some said northje did it during fielding when Kohli hits 4 in first over . Then whole india batting in same boundary. Second: once bowler in the mark the cushion (rope which we follow) is the ultimate boundary. After bowling a delivery If a fielder shift it first then caught the ball then the marker will be original (ICC 9:3:3). But it's of during that delivery. Once the bowler on mark the cushion is the final one which ponting Pollock explained. If it is shifted then it should be corrected otherwise ball will be considered as dead ball (9:3:2). So the ball is dead??? No it's total 6,7 rule all together presents the outcome and according to icc playing condition umpire is correct. In many games even in psl the boundary marker (line) and rope are diff bcz it used to vary in diffrent situation in diff match especially if pitches is changed or excessive rain etc. It's a serious claim and except some pak, SA fan no one cares it specialy expert, ex cricketers even in SA. Either the rope was same from ball one or it should be dead. 9:3:3 only applied for a particular delivery not the entire match which people misunderstood. They should read all 9:3:2 to all rule about that and understand the outcome also ICC playing condition. And his feet touched the rope????? Please watch it in 240p by zoom. It's the grass. His shoe rubbed the ground during fast running..bcz of frictional force btwn shoe and the ground some grass was plugged out. That ground is like mat of grass. Since he rubbed the ground some grass (maybe with some soil) plugged out and it made confusion. Umpire watch in both angle. Common sir..

It will clear you the whole thing altogether. You can zoom it from start sports. Don't believe others vedio why will watch you worse possible position. It's bit of understanding in depth, concentration and bit of physics. Thank you

Why last 50 over world cup Rohit catch by Head not checked again and again. He accepted that it had touch ground. Had Rohit been not out the result would have been different.

Personally I think what should be outlawed is a player throwing in a catch from outside the boundary to another player thus 2 people completing the catch. If its done by the same player, I feel that should remain a fair catch.
