- After receiving still the same message from the seller that the battery is up to standards and checked before shipping to customers, I have decided to dismantle it to prove my test results.
Glad to see this video Marik. I've been looking at this battery and asked Lithium Solar to capacity test it as the price point has me suspicious. These evil people wanting to rip off general public for riches is disgraceful. Maybe tell them you want to review on internet before ordering and see what they say or what battery arrives? Stay safe.
Mark, thank you for posting this video. I have posted a note about this battery on the Grand Design RV Owners Website along with a link to your video. I have been advocating the purchase of these lower priced Lithium batteries for a couple of years now and am disappointed that sellers have resorted to outright FRAUD when it comes to these Lithium batteries. Videos like yours and other YouTubbers like "Lithium Solar" and "DIY with Will Prowse" will help to prevent others from becoming victims of these unscrupulous Fraudsters!!!!
And "LDSreliance" has some good vids about Grade B's being sold as A's.
I had the same experience, with a 200Ah battery. but instead it is 60Ah. same brand.

i was looking at the 500ah version of this. four of them in series would be about 25.6kwh for about $1200 shipped. the price seemed to get to be true. i dont exactly have the extra money right now, but i was willing to drop the cash to get these soon if the specs were not lies as i suspect they are
I had the same problem. I ordered the 400ah battery and it was also only about 90ah!! Sent it back for refund. The address the seller have was a fake address. Battery never arrived at destination and was destroyed. Had to open complaint with PayPal for refund. Seller was terrible!!!!!

The seller just made excuses saying that their battery was to the highest standards etc. The address they gave was fake. I had to open a chargeback via PayPal. In the end I got almost all my costs back. Had to fight for it though!!

How much is the weight from this fake-accu?
After watching this video. I'm inclined disassemble my DIY battery pack made of 16S 280AH cells. I'm suddenly feeling the need to test their true capacity. All I checked was the voltage and how closely matched they were, But I know that there is a large variation of accumulated charges because the charging curve is so "flat" within the charging voltage range. I've paid almost $1900 for these cells thinking that you get what you pay for. But your experience serves me as a warning to not take anything for granted. unfortunately that was almost 4 month ago! It took me a couple of months for me to "test" and assemble the pack as I had to wait for the BMS and another couple of months to get the right cell tester to test such large cells. Hopefully the price I paid will save me from such disappointment, although I bet the tested capacity will be inferior to 280Ah. If it's by 10% I can swallow my losss, but if it's more...? I'll do what you did. I'll post my result on CZcams and let the viewers know not to buy from that specific seller. I recently bought another batch and the first thing I'll do is to measure the weight. Who knows what's really inside those welded stud prismatic cells?
I would definitely recommend capacity test all the time as one can not be sure with anything these days. Unfortunately it seems like people want to rip-off eachother.😥
@@marekrosel4521 Indeed, I think they just to survive unother day in paradise. We''ve been spoiled and it's really my fault, I ordered items in the wrong sequence because I was impatient to get my offgrid kicking some real saving on my bills, and it did already paid off half of my solar system cost. So now that I have the new tester and BMS, I'm just waiting for the new batch of cells to apply all what CZcams taight me. YEahhh!

AliExpress is aware of this, yet they continue to work with the scammers!
has anybody checked the weight? we have two of these 24v 300ah.... worked about one year with 1kw usage per 24h while we had not been ln the plot, only for wifi- camera and watering plants. when we arrived i started cooling-box for insuline and after half an hour the inverter/charger said "no bateries"... messured voltage 4.36??? unbelievable!!! does not charge, none, think bms killed. ordered different, new as really in need to cool insuline, 24v 100ah. weight 19.7kg each... than weight checked for 24v 300ah 12.7kg = fake. now in discusdion with aliexpress as seller does not repeat, no products to sell, but 100%positive.
asked ali to send me labels that they can check bateries themselves. any further idea how to force them to give me a refund?
This kind of treacherous business is too much, this is not simply jerry-built, but a very serious fraud, as a member of the industry, I deeply spiteful🥵

Did you send them this video and your capacity test results? I'd think that would be enough! If not then Google 'electronics repair shop' in your area and see if one of them can confirm the results with your credit card company.
@@Mazlem Yes, I gave them all evidence gathered to support my case but they want expert report until 31/12/2022 which is impossible to get over the Christmas period. I tried to get in touch with few but no answer or could not do it.
@@marekrosel4521 wow that's ridiculous! It's not like they need any special equipment; just visual confirmation of eight 60Ah cells in series and there's no way to get 300Ah out of that. Plus the weight difference. Can you open a dispute through AliExpress?
@@Mazlem Yes, I did open a dispute through the AliExpress but as the seller didn't agree with the postage metod and cost so I could not return the battery in time frame given and the case was closed in sellers favour. AliExpress support did not even answer my emails. So I open credit card charge back dispute as it is over £100 transaction. Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act
