I’ve only played the one I own, a 25th anniversary Double Agent with Railhammer in Bridge, and a friends Sensei. Both are just amazing but I know the double agent a little better. The quality and parts at this price point is just amazing. It’s a guitar I come back to after a new acquisition and say to myself, damn why I don’t I play this thing all the time?!!

I own three Reverends, including my 5-string bass. I've got pricey Fenders and about a dozen other guitars in my collection, and the Reverends are among the very best in terms of tone. They are fantastic. My jaw still drops when I play my Airsonic, and I assure you it's not because I'm an amazing player. If Sweetwater and Reverend both maintain their excellence, they will remain a match made in heaven.

It's funny you mention the tone. I have quite a few guitars (Gibsons, PRS's, Fenders, Charvel, Danelectro etc) and I tell people my Jetstream P90 has the most musical tones of any guitar I own.

This is the best interview I have ever seen Ken do on Reverend and covering their history. I love the guitars and think they are a great value - just getting better all the time. They were in the right place at the right time with the right selection of instruments to execute. Joe Naylor is one of the visionaries in the industry.

Holy cow! This is a great move for both companies - after 45 years of playing I have Gibsons, Fenders, PRS's, Martins... and a Reverend Guitars Greg Koch Signature Gristle 90. The Reverend is a fantastic instrument that has become my daily go-to. Quality is top-notch, playability can't be beat, and the versatility is what you'd expect from a Greg Koch signature guitar.

This is great news. Everything about these two companies is getting the customer what they want and will enjoy using. I have a current order due to arrive soon from Sweetwater.
I have been and continue to play Telecaster style guitars. For Years I purchased and orbited through many types of instruments, Pauls, PRSs. Strats, et cetera. But finally I figured out that 'MY' instrument is a tele with humbuckers and a maple neck. (Be thinking Tim Lerch or Ted Greene) Then, I got turned on to Gregory Kochery thru the hilarious Wildwood videos. I had always wanted a Wildwood guitar. And I had always wanted a Korina body instrument. So I ordered up a Blucifer Gristlemaster in Korina with a Roasted Maple neck. Wildwood set me up a beaut, and shipped it out. This Reverend Guitar is simply amazing. Hungry for a bit of technical info, I rang RG to ask my questions and Ken Haas answered the phone. What a delightful human being. We gabbed for 35-40 minutes, he answered all my questions, he got a happy customer and I got a new friend. Many thanks to both Sweetwater and Reverend Guitars for taking this step together.

Bought my first (but hopefully not my last!) Reverend directly from Ken at Supernova '23 after eyeing it for three days straight (Ken, it was the Venetian Pearl Buckshot). I knew it would rule, seeing how MANY players that weekend were rocking different Reverend models (Kristin Forbes/Lady Hatchett and Rob George (Hub City Stompers)), including some I've loved forever that I didn't know were playing Revs (esp. Bucket from the Toasters.) That Buckshot is the nicest guitar I have every played, and has every tone under the hood I could ever ask for, and its an absolute JOY to play. Ken is the man, and it sounds like Joe Naylor is too! Keep up the good work! (I'm just waiting for a good performance shot with it to replace my CZcams avatar with... that one has my mid-90s Gibson LP Standard that has been completely dethroned!)
