Thank you for this deck tech. I tried it at our local CEDH pod and won with it. The Lotus Winter Orb works very well together and leaves your opponents to Succumb to the Cold. We are about to go again.

This now must be my lifes mission to win a singular tournament with the queen. I have run an Augustine deck gor years and recently dismantled it since its performace was so lackluster, but this video has rekindled the fires of victory in my coldsteel heart.
Just finished my firest ever cEDH pod with your Hylda list (with some slight adjustments towards my preferences), and somehow, through sheer luck, I pulled off a win. The cards that definitely put in work were Archon of Emeria, Opposition, Silence, and Cyclonic Rift

I am currently making an icy witch deck for casual commander and I got as far as bad blue/white decks when I started laughing… I love me some janky bad decks (5 color gargoyle tribal shoutout). Yet even though my deck will never be very competitive I am ever so grateful to see if some of the stuff I have laying around will fit into her 99. I was thinking of proxies for both Hylda and Rowan as both Yang and Weiss from Rwby! Glad to see I can build them both for cedh! But more than likely I'll build one for cedh and the other for casual!
You emphasized to not play this deck, but if I were to play it at an upcoming tournament, you know... as a joke... would you change anything since you posted this? 🥺
This is also a commander for a notable aggro deck. The fact that you can tap down blockers and create more offensive power means that you can quite realistically use combat as a way to win, add on the fact that Azorious creatures are actually very combat efficient means that it isn’t that far fetched. Using Ledger Shredder, Regal Bunnycorn and Deceiver Exarch to just present bodies to soak up the combat buff and also provide efficient interaction and you’ll destroy opponents in no time. Also since you’re already providing evasion on the rest of the deck, the creatures themselves don’t actually need evasion on them. You just play the best interactive creatures and just effectively play in a vein similar to Azorius Delver of the past. Azorius has never been so combat focused. Ps. Your Ad Naus opponents are also going to be massively hurt because the Ad Naus is going to suck so bad they need a secondary way to go off.
You may not win but the other people at that table will have a story to tell. Definitely like this deck idea even if everyone groans. It's like Brago, King Eternal and any of the Rashiden pirates
You make me think of Luminarch Ascension a bit with this, I run it in my cEDH deck as a 'welp, we're desperate because we've lost all our win cons/yay we drew it early!' type card. I'm never not surprised at how much work 4/4 flyers can do, 4/4s in general are big enough to fuck shit up in cEDH. You get a big hug for throwing in Hidden Strings... that card was just bonkers value in my old Talrand deck, able to generate 2/2 flyers and generate mana, no part of that was bad! Such a good Casual card that I could see Tymna decks throwing it in too, but you don't really. I like how Rowan synergizes with the normally awful Wheel of Misfortune to help you cast dumb Eldrazi or something. I already have a really good Rakdos option, though it's more Vorthos. I think Rowan is a cool build around though, there are so many pay life to draw cards effects that are just bonkers with her, I suspect she makes Necropotence look mildly attractive (normally you just get stomped for playing it, but she can perhaps 'go off' via artifact Flash and free casts).
