But i've noticed one thing, whenever we bring up a real struggle or problem for men, we have to mention how in some way this will also affect women. That's when people really listen.
It should be enough to just say "this is having a negative impact on men". That should be enough. We are half the population, we are important and we matter as a demographic.

Having high testosterone levels is extremely important, especially in this day and age. Most men today have suboptimal levels of testosterone - a lot less than their fathers or grandfathers had just 30-50 years ago. There are various reasons for this. One factor that is oftentimes neglected is endocrine disruptors in our environment (i.e. xenoestrogens, BPA, phthalates, triclosan, etc), phytoestrogens in food (i.e. soy, which is in almost ALL processed foods), and hypothyroidism (subclinical or autoimmune Hashimoto's disease). There are many ways to increase testosterone levels naturally. Diet, supplements, and lifestyle changes can make a tremendous difference in boosting testosterone, DHT, growth hormone (GH), IGF-1, and other anabolic hormones. Sleeping before 11 p.m. works wonders for your endocrine/hormonal health. Including more cholesterol in your diet which is a precursor to all steroid hormones helps as well - red meat (beef, lamb, bison etc), seafood, eggs, full-fat dairy, organ meats (offal), and saturated fats in general (even plant-based sources, such as coconut oil, cocoa butter, etc). Weightlifting, especially multi-joint exercises, such as deadlifts and squats, have been shown in various studies to increase testosterone, IGF-1, and GH levels. Tribulus Terrestris is a famous supplement that offers short-term benefits, but doesn't address the root cause of testosterone deficiency. No one has a 'Tribulus deficiency'. Concerning supplements, the big 3 are 1) magnesium, 2) vitamin D3, and 3) zinc. Choose a magnesium formula that contains many forms of magnesium as every form carries unique benefits compared to the others. Concerning vitamin D, go for a product that is sourced from animal-based sources to maximize its bioavailability. Do not use more than 5,000 IU per serving as over the 5,000 IU mark there are malabsorption issues. Break the dose into 2 or 3 servings throughout the day, depending on when you consume a high-fat meal. Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that requires fat to be efficiently absorbed in the intestines. When it comes to zinc, use zinc picolinate 30 - 40 mg per day taken with a fat-containing meal as zinc picolinate is partially fat-soluble. A nice read on increasing T levels naturally through weightlifting, nutrition, and supplements is Vintage Physique by George Kelly. Old-School bodybuilding diets were very rich in testosterone-precursor compounds, such as cholesterol, saturated fats, zinc, magnesium, vitamin D, B complex vitamins, vitamin E, selenium, boron, iodine, etc. This is one of the reasons why Оld-Schооl bоdybuilders looked like real-life superheroes. If you combine high T with regular weightlifting, the results are compounded (1+1=3). Testosterone also makes you stronger in the gym and more explosive athletically.

There are many private clinics that have Doctors and NPs that can help with low T in Canada. Your family doctor isn't going to arbitrarily out you on TRT, they look for symptoms that severely effect you health (as it detrimental to your daily life), before they would even consider checking you hormone levels. If you want to get some advice go to a private clinic, it just costs $$$ but some health insurances cover it. FYI.

Exactly the same for me. I went to get my levels checked, the Dr. assured me emphatically that my hormone levels are probably fine and that I should just take an anti depressant. I literally had to TELL him to run the hormone tests anyway. Turns out my T levels were just below 400, which is below the normal range. The doctor insisted that it's a fluke and we ran the tests again, and again 5 times, month after month, and my T levels only once went above 400. I saw three different relevant doctors after that (endocrinology, urology) and they all insisted on marking my issue as "erectile dysfunction" (and I never had that problem nor did I say that I did) and subsequently my insurance refused to cover anything. I'm sorry, I'm completely convinced that we're looking at a systematic erasure of a very obvious pandemic issue. I have many friends who've had a nearly exact same experience. Having normal testosterone levels is absolutely mandatory in my opinion. I wrecked my balls as a teenager and by 30 the little testoerone I had coming from my factories was woefully inadequate. To say you don't exist at that point is and understatement, you can't think, you have no energy, sex is no where even remotely on your brain. I finally got a full blood panel test which revealed levels much lower than Chris' starting point which prompted the doctor to immediately initate steps to take and to get it retested in 1 month. After all was said and done I ended up on TRT and for the first time since being a child I felt alive. I had energy, I was calm all the time (what is this feeling I thought when i experienced being relaxed for the first few times), I had sex drive which was absolutely amazing, I could think clearly and had decent memory, I can't name a single thing that wasn't improved by this one hormone. In my opinion this should be a mandatory health check every 5 or 10 years. I got put through the ringer before getting TRT by the NHS which was absolutely horrific torture, and I really mean torture it was mental brutality with all the different pills that they want to put you on despite having the root problem right there, in the data, in the science, just right there, right, damn, there. I should also note that don't expect TRT from the NHS, their standards for low are extremely extreme. Go private if you can and get it checked, if you have even low in range your life will be impacted massively. The NHS wants to put you just over the very bottom line that's redefined whenever they take a new average (lowers every year) which is a terrible place. Talk to many excellent private professionals and none will agree with the NHS. Put your health first as always and make it a priority. Good job Chris, that difference is huge and congrats!

I have been struggling with motivation and building muscle since COvid really but I thought it must be because I don’t have access to a gym, stuck at home etc. My T level was 374 and the doc said it’s in the normal range. I was dissatisfied to say the least. 1. I eat meat including organ meats, 2 I eat a lot of fat 3 I don’t avoid all carbs 4 I have been working out 3 times a week in the gym for a year by the time I got my blood test 5 I don’t have a stressful life 6 I mostly sleep well. Have been thinking about getting on some gear, just to get it back up to 600+ but I am not convinced enough. This gives me hope that I can do it without gear. Thanks for that

Mine was 265 and the NHS GP just sent me on my way and told me 265 is in the normal range. I just laughed and walked out of his office. I've dealt with a non existent sex drive, low mood, depression, anxiety, you name it and my friends always thought I was gay because i didn't have the urge to pursue women. Since then I've begun working out in the gym 3x a week, eating a diet rich in beef and eggs. I try to get a sufficient amount of sleep but its a struggle in London. Leg workouts help, shilajit helps, VItamin D, Zinc and magnesium definitely help. But one of the big game changers for me was semen retention which i have been on for the last 7 months. More than 3 ejaculations in a week will put me in a state of depression and no motivation to do anything and my libido takes at least a week to return. So this semen retention helps for now but who knows what the future holds.

@-Believeinyourself- male pattern baldness is caused by DHT sensitivity in hair follicles on the scalp. when testosterone is metabolized, it is converted to dihydrogentestosterone (DHT) - many men have genes that cause the hair follicles on their scalp to be reduced by DHT. Conversely, DHT is also what directs masculine hair growth elsewhere on the body (beard, armpit, pubes, chest, etc..).
The irony the comment is talking about is that usually when testosterone increases, most men experience hair thinning on the head. Apparently, after taking test, one man experience more hair on his head... this does not fall in line with most current findings on the subject.

What was weird is that I still had more muscle than average, so you can't really tell based on looking at someone. There's no explanation other than my body doesn't make enough Lutinizing Hormone (which tells your balls to produce T). This is happening more and more. It's probably due to environmental toxicity (plastics, pollution, etc). I've been taking T for five years now and I'm 32. I'll have to take it forever but the upside is I can optimize my levels forever. Don't let a doctor tell you if you're high or low. Look at a chart or levels by age. A lot of doctors literally look at the entire range, which is like 250-1200, but shockingly do not factor in AGE!!!! It's criminally negligent. 250 is normal if you're 80, not if you're 25! I was 450 at age 23 and my stupid doctor back then didn't flag it. And my mistake was of course trusting her. I could've improved my quality of life years before I did. I was on painkillers for a long time for chronic pain and had a variety of low T symptoms. An endocrinologist tested me and I was at 315 ng/dl. She said I was on the low range of normal, so no action needed. A year later I was in a gym and there was a company next door that did hormone testing for men. I went in, they did the test a few days later and my result was still in the low 300s. I went on weekly testosterone injections and my symptoms were gone in a month. Better mood, fixed libido, reduced breast tissue, better ability to focus, less feelings of exhaustion, no more brain fog. I asked the new Dr (a guy) about the initial opinion and he was like "in general, you should see male doctors for male problems - they will take you more seriously." I don't think enough men know about the symptoms of low testosterone and how badly it can screw you up, PLUS it's a vicious cycle. You get depressed/tired so you don't work out, so you get more out of shape, so you get more tired.

And the few that do, are businesses looking to gain off desperation. Sad. Truly sad.

If you're at 495 and take any T at all that is purely enhancement not even TRT as there is no loss of function to replace. It's also a quite inefficient way of getting enhanced as it comes with a gamut of side effects that you wouldn't get with other anabolics. TRT should only be given to people who are both low in testosterone AND symptomatic for low T symptoms. If you are perfectly healthy at 495 and just "want" to be higher that is pretty moronic, and very irresponsible of the T-hawking "doctors" at Marek who push it.

Apparently regular doctors aren’t interested in treating low T because this medicine is not interested in healthy men. It’s only interested in treating desease , but for that you need to increase the chances of those diseases actually happening - so let’s keep the low T in men , better for the industry 💪💰

495 is just fine. 1000 is high... you sure you're not taking Clomid? ;-)

He is taking something. He probably nuked his natural T when getting his body while he was young. Now he's on something to push it back up to where it was when he was juicing. All these guys do it.

@@Poulson_thefit1 300-1000 is normal. anything below 300 is considered low T. If you go from 495 to 1000 something is definitely off. anything above 1000 and you're a genetic specimen. Total test will give a decent gauge on how high your free test should be but isn't absolute. Free test is what determines muscle growth and muscle strength than total test.

Thanks Chris! What's going on all over the place is palpable. We're messing around in uncharted waters....I'm scared, not so much for me but for the world we're handing on to our youngsters, people we are responsible for. We don't know enough....I feel a massive duty to learn more, to help with the seismic shift that's continually happening with our evolution. We're headed into a dark space.
