Man that dragon fight in the end was so epic that they had you kill it twice.
Why,why did you spoil
That was a bug, right? Poor dragon. Lol
double the fun
@@extreme_player why do you read the comments before watching the video 😦
Hehe
i never comment but I have to pay my respects to this person they upload videos faster than I can watch them
Agreed
this dude's a total LEGEND!!! Really gives me a chance to experience games that I can't afford at the moment. I'm in his debt
Also MK it's pretty much the only one who plays good and really is satisfying to watch, I love watching algo the RadBrad but the guy talks SO much he misses so much stuff that stresses me out,
🤦♂ he record the game all the way to the ending and then upload it in parts
@@Anela0709 are we sure it's a guy? There's so much anonymity tbh that I've started thinking they might be a very advanced AI although with how much dawdling they do during missions that might not be the case
Even in the little interactions between Kratos and the gang, he's so much more open and kinder to those around him. It really is amazing to see how far he's come...the dudebros angry with it can stay angry, I'd trade the old Kratos out in a heartbeat.
I mean, I know some die hard peeps who love the GoW series, that were fine with how Kratos developed to what he is now. I feel like the ones that are salty (and the ones that continue to think of him as a " toxic male power fantasy") don't look into the details about his character. He's by no means a saint, has killed innocent people when he served Ares, had little empathy during his revenge for his family, and developed a powerful mistrust of others. He had every right to be mistrusting, especially when it was revealed his mother and brother were alive, only for them to be killed as well. His methods however, were hella excessive. At that point, he went to finish what he started, but at least provided a boon for humanity by giving them "hope" when Pandora helped him.
Honestly, when you look even at the very first GoW, this man knew he went on a rampage across Greece, and just asked for the pain to go away after he stopped a mad god, which the Pantheon were like "but...penance and stuff, ya know?". Dude was driven to suicide, then saved and turned into a god. A Broken man, turned into the God of War. What hella irony, that it would be their downfall. Fast forward to now, it just makes sense for him to mellow out. Look at Berserk, a long going series that basically had a similar man going through hell in a unforgiving dark fantasy setting, surviving a terrible event that physically left a sea of blood for the people to see, his lover physically and mentally broken because of said events, and his motivation was revenge on the former friend who caused all of that. It got to a point when some form of stability came back into his life, he too mellowed out and had to calm down and learn to trust in those who are helping him.
People get soooo wrapped up in the power fantasy (and I get it), but forget when the stories presents humanity for the character, where it makes sense. If I wanted pure carnage, that's where games like Doom or Borderlands come in. That's the epitome of escapism and fantasy without worrying about arcs other than outside stuff. Also sorry for the tl;dr, but GoW is a series that's fun to talk about, when discussing Kratos and his entire legacy.
@@childOFtengu That what you said there is what I was especially thinking. People who don't look into the depths of a character and only on the surface for the sake of power fantasy and seeing them only as a destructive and hard killing badass either don't bother to try.... or in a more ironic and hypocritical sense, rather deny and refuse to.
Considering 150 years (roughly) has passed since he came to Midgard, I think the developers wanted to make a grizzled war veteran who gained 150 yrs of wisdom, and reflection... if he had stayed the same he would continue on to destroy every mythological pantheon, and it would make for a pretty linear and boring story.
@@childOFtenguyou mention humanity when we talk about gods. Embodiments of nature, not form. They don't and shouldn't conform to human moral standards because they aren't humans, nor do they even aspire to be human, in any discourse so far. Paternal/maternal instincts are everywhere in nature. He wants to be left alone and his son safe. There is no betterment of mankind or the greater good, just the immediate and knowable satisfaction of his present action, like an animal/force of nature. Selfishness is not a human domain.
@@fierypandaofdoom While I'll say that's a nice argument, and I will agree in regards to the parental nature and responsibilities, I feel you're forgetting who and what Kratos even started as. Him spending centuries as a god now, never took away the mortal/human aspects of his being when he was once a mortal man of Sparta, made into the champion of Ares. GoW1's entire point, was that you were still a mortal man going up against creatures and even a god that no regular person could. Sure, Kratos, because of his pact with Ares, was given some benefits (Super Strength, endurance, magical weapons, to name a few), but he was still very much easy to kill; Kratos just makes it difficult for them to do so.
It wasn't until the end of GoW1, that he was made a god with all the perks, and GoW2's reveal that he was the Demi-god son of Zeus (also expanded on in Ghost of Sparta on the PSP). Still, he was mortal, and raised by mortals. His actions and persona are human, but a human given so much power that he destroyed everything due to mistrust and anguish.
NOW, after all he has done, still has godhood, but he's now a god of nothing. He wanted a normal life since he still couldn't die as he wanted, and was given a second chance through Faye and Atreus/Loki. Even Faye knew how closed off Kratos was, and did her best to make him regain that human aspect again. She basically succeeded in that, cause otherwise, Kratos would have remained as he was. GoW Ragnarok shows that it takes time, and Kratos had to come to terms with even the concept of death, something he's no stranger to, but has suffered from, felt, and was taught to be numb towards.
My condolences to the dragon it had to die twice in the same way . One in a kratos rage mode and one normally
That was a bug, right? Poor dragon. Lol

4:33 Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you: Sassy Kratos
Best GoW moment, I believe!
I'm shocked people aren't talking about this more. Happy to be here for it :D
Love how thorough you are with exploring and completing the side quests. They are just as interesting as the main storyline
Ahh i love this, thank you for playing so that we who cant can experience this :).Nice work, but remember to take some rest!!!!
Dude he had the game a week or two before launch
Do you think he can play, edit, upload the full game in 3 days

I love this game so much. I stayed up all night last night playing this and made it to Alfheim before passing out. Now I'm up again, gotta get back to it
Edit: playing on no mercy.

@@Near_Carnivore I've almost beaten the game, haven't turned dowm the difficulty once. My 2nd playthrough will definitely be on GMGOW. Have died plenty of times up to this point, that's for sure.
@@Near_Carnivore won't start the hardest difficulty until I've 100% everything. GMNM is honestly challenging enough, am in no rush.
Man gotta say, that spear looks really really elegant... So goddamn aerodynamic and whatta design... And the way Kratos throws, with such power and purpose... Love it!
And the Spartan Rag waving in the air like a Flag... Hot damn!!
Its just like his special weapon from Ghost of Sparta (one of the PSP games) which was a magic spartan shield & spear
Gotta salute ma man using the gateway exploit to get his health and rage to full, outstanding move

You ever killed dragon so hard reality hit rewind to watch that shit again.
1:11:40 finally Mimir spoke about it lmao
This video shoulda had time stamps for when he/she continued with the main story
Lmao. I slept last night 12 PM at our time it was Part 10. Now I woke up it's already 16 😂. So quick, man. Thabk you still. Been wanting to binge this haha
Damn, that dragon was so hardcore that you needed TWO finishing moves to kill it!
Watching the gameplay since you posted part 1
Something I've loved about these last two games is that it never feels like Atreus ever gets weaker
Youre a legend my guy
I love how SSM made a more complex version of Inside Out from a single character.
1:17:06 wyvern's so strong you need glory kills it twice
Good job mk nice vid
8:45 wow would be really handy if you had a magical flying boat to get you across the canyon huh?
Kind of addicted to this story love you bro😎❤️😎
I'm on #16 and I've been on a binge mission for the last 4 days! I don't even know what else is happening on CZcams!🤣🤣
That Mortal Kombat fatality at the end…..twice😳
Fenrir is gonna become a super-popular name for all manner of doggos, from Great Danes to Chihuahuas.
Pretty sure most people who watch/play this knew the name "Fenrir the wolf" long before this game came out. I've known about Fenrir since I was 10.
- That was a joke
- Are you certain?
I love watching gameplay even this creator I've fully watch every part of this. keep it up
Got a reward for you fam!Ⓜ️♥️,
"I'll be damned."
I laughed even if Kratos and Mimir didn't.

4:35 Kratos, is that a... taunt?! You can crack jokes?!
Honestly kratos needs a title update to god of war and troubled father son relationships

Kratos knows how to respect.
I think I figured out brok’s riddle. It’s a hole? Also this crater was just a nice side beat. Nothing to do with the main plot line so it’s cool they put it in for more lore pieces and extra content!
ur definitely right, it’s a very common riddle I’ve heard it several times before
oh, that riddle, there's more to it, you'll see...
@@just_a_guy9688 finally finished it. The revelation was great, still correct
Man MKIceAndFire must really love spears. He keeps using that weapon more than any other. Also that Dragon died twice. It must not have had a soul. Just like Garm.

It's always bothering me when he ignored the ravens that just literally sitting beside him
I don't know how you can upload so fast like you do not sleep and still play so good
He has early access liked a week+..
Poor dragon got double-killed. Hahaha
someone called this a filler episode😭
Lmao
It unironically is, bro hasn't been touching the main story at all for 1 and a half episode
Imagine OG Kratos meeting this one
The Dreki would make good electric water pokemon
8:31
*Percy Jackson flashbacks*
For anyone who doesn't know the answer to the riddle is: A Hole
dang double kill on the corpse eater huh
classic kratos either he cracks wide of enemies skulls or kills the enemy with its weapon.
Guys hear me out, The prophecy of Raganarok says that Asgard will be destroyed and the other 8 realms will flourish right? What if the reason is because of all the side quests Kratos, Mimir and Atreus are doing? I mean, they are helping and healing the realms
Got a reward for you fam!Ⓜ️♥️,
You know what your gameplay look like bolo boss fight in shadow fight 3 have you played it. It took time but I passed it.

Finally mimir tell us his thoughts about sif
No how much I love dragons, to the bottom of my heart with love for all reptiles I couldn't kill them as nature's gorgeous creation. Some desire to live throughout survival and if there was a way than just killing them to defend our dear ones then that is the way I must look in to it.

Dragon so tough you had to fatality it twice
You taking all day just to go to the mission
You can entirely skip this part. Only side quest. Nothing significant.
It’s worth watching tho for the people who like hearing side dialogue and lore
Yup
I've observed this for some time now. Is it just me or does his normal attacks inflict more damage than the runic skills? If so, what's the purpose of using them?

I've noticed that too...
We not gonna talk about the tiny Fungus man with a cigerette in his mouth at 15:09 standing to the left of kratos? Ok...
I honestly think this person just did a 30hour run and decided to post each one in parts
Can somebody tell me what he accomplished in this part? Skipping to the next part cause I'm so absorbed to the story

is there any meaning or lore in the markings on krato's paths? i notice there are markings on every paths kratos can go.
Laufey foresaw everywhere Kratos and Atreus will travel to and the paths they will take.
It's heavily implied that Laufey marked these paths herself.

Santa Monica studios what have you done to my boy 😐
Made him a real boy that’s what
Wiser and more controlled than the raging vengeance filled spartan we knew back in the day, which makes sense now that he’s older and learned from his mistakes. Tho I do get fuckin pumped when we get to see glimpses of the old god killer come out.
