A nice clear video, thank you. However...in the video you said before cutting into the pipe to shut off the mains water feed in, and also the accumulator outlet feeds. Surely it should be the accumulator inlet feeds, so they don't back-flow under pressure back out of the cut pipe? Or have I misunderstood?

That valve will prevent backflow itself, and the the MDPE (Plastic) stopcock was closed. I am certain that no water would have returned past that valve James installed. And absolutely 1000% would have not returned past the stopcock

I have a bore hole with a similar set up and the pump is set to 4 bar on and 5 bar off. Fitted a PRV but it slowly creeps up to 5 bar. Tried everything, even changed the PRV to a different brand. It appear that if the incoming pressure varies, the PRV struggles. Can anyone out there suggest a fix?

Hi James got a question. Can I fit a non return valve got a bath mixer tap and the hot from a combination boiler is going into the cold water from a tank in the loft ?
