I would cover the hood vent over the supercharger, otherwise the rain is going dry out your pulley bearings real quick.
There's a spring on the trunk arms, that you can move further down, to allow the trunk to auto open when popped again.

Its not a Turbo its Centrifugal supercharger driven directly by the engine via a belt-drive. Turbos are driven by engine gasses. Procharger looks like a Turbo but its not. Its just a different type of supercharger then your regular TVS Twin Screw superchargers

Thanks for the clarification. I went looking at Pro Comp to see what the difference was and to get one for my jeep JKU. $5k better spent under the hood of a sports car than my old Jeep LOL 😄

From someone who was driving cars in the 80's, the louvers are for keeping sunlight out of the interior of a car with a large rear window while still allowing you to see out the rear window with little interference. The style you have looks like solid plastic with double stick tape to hold it on. There are better designs, usually made out of aluminum and have a hinged end so you can lift them to clean the window. These still were cumbersome/floppy and tended to rattle (at least the one did on the back my Nissan 280ZX. You may want to rid yourself of this when it falls off and do without, or get something that easily removes for cleaning. Great Channel!

I don't know much about super chargers but yours look like a turbo.
It's a supercharger but a centrifugal type which makes it look like a turbocharger
It's a supercharger because it's run by the belt from the engine and a turbo is run by the exhaust gasses

@@simbel7688 its a supercharger it looks like turbo but is driven by the engine belt. TURBO is driven by engine gasses. Its Centrifugal Supercharger - driven directly by the engine via a belt-drive. There is 3 different types of superchargers and Procharger superchargers look exaclty like turbos but they are not. Normally you have TVS Superchargers like Roush, Whipple etc. driven by belt with twin screws inside pushing the air. This one is driven by the belt with fan blade driving air.

I think that's more a testament to Pro-Charger's user manual than their mechanical skills. They are body guys through and through, though they show some mechanic potential.

From a fellow boosted buddy, do your shopping and look into a good tuner in your area and get a pro to tune it on a dyno. Those basic maps are good but tend to run super rich or to lean. A tuner can fine tune it to get the best performance and really optimize the setup for better drive ability and also get those crackle pops and maybe even flames out of the tail pipes. 🤣
