      Haha. You are the second person to say that. The funny thing is that I hae never watched the show. I know OF the show just never watched it, so i had to look up what the Dalek looked like. You are so right. How funny. I thought people might have a lot more ideas of what that looks like but it never occurred to me it was a robot, 🙂

      Haha. You are ahead of me. That lady bug was an afterthought on that pot. I had a bald spot on the back of the pot and didnt want to put another bee I was just going to put one of the dots on there and carve it, but when I put it down on the pot, it dawned on me....ladybug!

    These are all so beautiful and creative and while you aren't mentioning this, it makes me feel stupid for all those times I needed little balls of clay the same size and spent so much time adding and taking away teensy little bits of clay to even them out. I'm going to look for some measuring spoons to keep in my clay kit as soon as possible. I also have all these small stamps that I love but hardly ever use. Using them on these spoon circles would work great.

      Hey Vicki. Im so gld you like that idea. The spoons have become some of my favorite tools in my studio for that very reason. I also used to do the same thing trying to get those little balls of clay the same size Happy potting to you.

    I think the spoons can also be used to make decorative beads. The ones everyone is stringing on rope for decor.

      Hi Vanessa, that is so sweet of you. Thanks for watching. Actually I use a very cool white porcelain clay in my studio as it is the best clay to paint on when I make my painted pottery that I like to do. It is a very smooth but finicky clay.

    Would using decorating bags (or bottles) with more decorating tips that are used in cake decorating work? I have lots of them. I don’t have the decorating bottles as I’ve always used the bags or parchment paper I’ve cut myself to make a Wilton style parchment disposable icing bag.

    • @annruel1982
      @annruel1982 Před 8 měsíci +1

      Hi Sammi. YOu can give it a try. I think that might work especially for just simple designs like I did here in this video. I know some people do very complex slip dot designs where you really benefit from a stiffer applicator that is less work to "steady" with your hands. When designs get complex, it really is a workout for your hands and fingers.
