I think one of the highlights of these videos is the faces Cody makes while Jon is taking his turn cracking the slabs. 😆 You guys are great sports. Keep it up.
I thought the card was bending in the case as Jon was trying to cut that corner, numerous heart attacks almost occurred during the filming of this video! Haha! 😂
We appreciate you stopping by and are happy to hear that this video helped! Although some different content, be sure to check out our most recent video. It may be helpful too!
Great video Tip: I cover the slab with damp towel to prevent splinters from flying. I also crush two or three corners with plyers before sliding open the slab.
Thanks for the tip! Definitely a good idea. After thinking about it, we probably could have put the slab inside a plastic sandwich bag to stop shards from flying too, but we live and learn. Appreciate the comment!
I broke a few out of HGA slabs….not fun compared to everyone else’s. They definitely use a stronger and more malleable plastic than the other more brittle slabs. Good job breaking it out
Both got PSA 10’s! We actually posted the video about a month or so ago if you’re interested. Had 5 cards total in that lot that were cracked. czcams.com/video/Q1EsnDjgXq4/video.html
Why cant you scroll saw off the top? Btw, HGA hae the highest quality slab. Funny that you dont mention PSA's crappy slabs despite being far worse than CSG. Your card is more protected in a top loader than they are in PSA slabs 😂😂
Never tried to saw a card out- some guys use a dremel tool as well. SGC is prob the flimsy ish case out of them all- PSA is 2nd- very thin and has that cloudy look to it. HGA and BGS have some very solid slabs, if we are talking about protecting a card.
haha another epic crack by code and tyler!
I just put mine in the freezer and it kind of worked but damn HGA slabs built different

Nice video guys. Really appreciate the tips. I just bought some cheap HGA slabs to practice before trying on an expensive card.
