hello Holly, thank you for your videos! Any idea of what is the role of a CP when one MDT is merging with another MDT?

Hiya - so sorry I haven't seen this sooner! I wonder what the two MDTs were doing before (i.e. why are they merging?). The role of a CP in this could be to help smooth a transition over and to help support staff teams to integrate as well as the other bits of being a CP in a MDT

Hope all is well with yourself, I just have a question. I’m currently on a undergraduate in psychology and counselling degree first year and doing my level 4 in therapeutic counselling first year of the diploma. Is it beneficial to be qualified with a BACP counselling diploma on a NHS MDT? Or will it be a narrowing of the psychological role.

Hiya - thanks for watching and for your comment. I'm sorry I'm not sure how to answer your questions...
In terms of a clinical therapist group - do you mean group therapy? In which case that really depends on what the presentation is (and how many attend the session), but likely to be between 4-8 clients depending on the therapy.
Can you clarify your other questions please? I can try to answer them :)

@@hsiao-meihuang4984 so sometimes medication will be advised (by psychiatrists or doctors). Psychologists tend to use talking therapy as their intervention.
