Big Brain Tip: You can set up a Bixby Routine to automatically switch screen resolution to 1440p only when CZcams/Netflix (or whatever you want) are open and then when you exit, it goes back to 1080p 120hz

If you are a regular user of prime lenses on actual cameras you get really used to that and you understand the advantages. I really recommend it even on a smartphone which has 10x optical zoom. If you can get closer and take the shot with the main camera it will be better

To be fair, you’re comparing an entry level Mac with a flagship smartphone. The MacBook Air is not at all designed to be any sort of powerhouse, it’s the “my first Mac” product to get people into the ecosystem and maintain presence on college campuses. The S20 Ultra is supposed to be for the most die-hard (usually blind-buying) Samsung fan who wants the most expensive phone Samsung makes as a status symbol - or is under the marketing illusion that it is actually the best phone they can buy.

Cheers for a true and honest review. I am an avid photographer (Nikon D610, but sometimes, walking my dog, I want to take a pic of flowers, landscapes. So absolute still photos, at 108MP suits me. Yeah, 8k is fun, but until they can ramp it to at least 30fps, it isn’t going to cut it. But I have ordered one, so I will get to see for myself 🙃

yeah noone even mentions the quality of the signal, wi-fi, speaker sound, voice quality etc. I had major disapointments with One Plus 3 but you don't see a reviewer mention the poor quality of the speaker. I think when you try to advance things lots of times it is buggy or has lots of faults. When things work smooth and refined like an iPhone, which I like, it's usually cause it is using specs and technology that has been tried and tested to the extent it's refined.

Question! How has the camera been after some updates, were the hardware flaws too great? It seemed to have potential without proper execution upon launch
If I remember correctly, it was greatly improved. Quality at higher zoom levels was cleaned up, and focus on the main was largely fixed; however, they could not be entirely removed. The Note 20 Ultra was Samsung's redemption arc, implementing the needed hardware changes.
Personally I like the rounded display with the squared corners. It was unique and a delight to look at. Not sure why the aversion to the rounded glass.
