I am a LLB first year student have done this syllabus but i got scared at one place "Marking is tough" That's why I am thinking to opt for Geography 🤔 because writing your university exam is one thing but being your writings examined by UPSC examiner is next level thing where your every sentence is scrutinized 🤔

@vaibhav - they are not testing you on quoting languages from sections to begin with. They don't even do that in mains of judiciary exams as bare acts are provided. You have to answer the questions really well by using examples from real life and linking with concepts

Very well explained sir. I was struggling during my early preparation of Law optional becoz of less number of law classes in Delhi, but I must say that Law optional just became a cakewalk when I joined BE N BY IAS classes. They have a proper module prepared by Sir Jasbir Bajaj (ex IAS). Though the course is lengthy but with proper hold on their subject they make it really easy for students.

Law is a 3rd class optional for UPSC 🙏 trust me🤚 not even a single person or hardly few hv scored 300+ in Law optional while in other optional like Anthropology people have 380+ marks, in Maths people get 360+ many.. Even in socio people get 320s..
Now just remember the cost of 1 marks.. In 20 marks different u have 500 Ranks.. U are in Or out🙏
The best of the mind from NLU delhi Somya Sharma also got minimum 285 marks ☹️ but she score extremely high in GS bcz of which she was in top 10.
U can get 10 Or 20 more in interview with law. But in paper its difficult.
Rest anything is possible 🙏 choose wisely and stick to it for all your attempts if u dont make in 1st attempt.
    Regards

Is cse preparation manageble along with studying law from faculty of law, if decided psir as optional ? Graduated in psir.
Law I have interest in, but above all its the only way i can pursue my cse preparation from Delhi with free from any insecurities ( backup plan) in mind.
      Kindly answer

@@Swadheenta06 🙏when u will take admission in Law faculty DU. Then pls go for Judiciary Judge exam. It will be more beneficial. Bcz u hv to study 📚30 hardcore Law papers during your semester which includes CPC, CrPC, IPC, Evidence, Jurisprudence, International law, Contract, Torts, Constitution law, Administrative law, Hindu Law, Muslim Law, Property Law, Specific relief Act, SOGA, Partnership, IPR, IT, Competition law, Labour law, Industrial law, Company law, Media Law, Delhi rent control, Taxation Law, Environmental law, ADR, Professional accounting, Then practical like Moot Court mandatary 100 marks u hv to draft ✍📄memorial then 100 marks drafting paper, optional paper like Negotiable instrument act or Election law, etc etc... DU will grill u to even get the degree 🎓with 55% .
& yes 70% attendance is mandatory but 66% se kaam chal jaega.
So think wisely and decide. U hv to study lots & give 30 Law paper exams to get degree of LL.B.🙏 itna karne ke baad UPSC is not prudent... I will suggest go for judiciary then
Or else IAS ke liye take Sociology as optional can be completed in 30 days.. & prepare easily.. Rest think wisely before taking a call.

@@nisha-z5s 👍 yes in just 30 Or even less days.. Just buy one book Sociology by nitin sangwan Or download it free.. There are only 5 thinker in paper 1 & 3 in paper 2..that also very very easy. 90% paper can always be predicted & which ques can't be predicted that comes from current like LGBTQ, Live in relationship, MGNREGA , Prevention of women from sexual harassment act. 🙏
By one reading you can understand the concept & you can watch vikash ranjan video for free from telegram & can download his notes also.
About answer writing vision have uploaded answer of srushti Deshmukh, Neha Bhosle. .. Watch neha boshle on delhi knowledge track she have shared all notes & answer script of her. Also of sanjita mohapatra
All year atleast 30 are from sociology optional in Top 100. Every next topper in UPSC is from sociology. Look for Pradeep Singh, Pratyush Pandey, etc also all took sociology. Despite being from IIT & IIM. UPSC wants technocrats & for that they know they take sociology.. So high marks are given in sociology. Be smart & crack the exam & become IAS brother. Don't go with your ego by taking hard optional like Law Or History where u have to learn Lakhs of facts & will end up not giving time to other papers.

      1. Give your maximum effort on prelims exam. Because if u can't quality then how will u write mains.
Read from New NCERT books & just 1 book for 1 subject ( Laxmikanth for polity, Spectrum for modern History, Fine arts 11th class NCERT for Art & culture) & maps & Current from vision. Just itna hi. 🤚& go through previous year papers. (Watch "Hardworking Human" CZcams channel of IAS manish kumar. He teaches u elimination techniques. 🤚
      2. For Sociology just read one book (sociology by Nitin Sangwan, From delhi knowledge Track (In Neha Bhosle video she had given her All telegram link where she gave all Answer copy, materials & etc.) Also From telegram take Rank-10 Sanjida mohapatra notes of some 50 pages all topic covered properly 👍
      3. For GS 1, 2, 3, & 4.... Har topic pe ek pages notes bana lo.. Usse jada nhi.. & keep revising. Is notes me sirf important point dalna like Committee report, ARC recommendations, Constitution articles, keep words of pros cons.. Also go through all answer copy of topper & note down key lines
      3. For essay.. Go through all toppers answers copy of essay from vision. Google kar lo kiske highest marks hai mains me. & for each 5 topic (like women, media, health, education, terrorism) inpe best copy download kar lo or revise karo.
