    I remember back in the 90s. Those houses in Rocklin where all going for the $160,000s.

    If you miss garbage every where, graffiti, homeless, crime . You can always go back to the bay area for a visit.

    We're in west LA and thinking of moving to Sacramento area and Rocklin caught our attention especially because of school, we're looking at middle and high school. What do you think about the schools, diversity and things to do there?

    • @livinginnortherncalifornia
      @livinginnortherncalifornia  Před rokem +1

      We moved from the Bay Area to Rocklin and have lots of neighbors who moved from So Cal. So far, they love it here and so do we. Middle School and High School are great schools too. We have a daughter that graduated from Whitney High School last year and have one in middle school now. As far as things to do, there is alot of stuff to do - you have Top Golf, Galleria Mall, Folsom Lake, Auburn for hiking and trails, lots of restaurants. We actually have a few Top Things to Do videos in Rocklin, Roseville, Lincoln that you can check out. I would recommend coming to visit. Its alot more developed than most people think. Feel free to reach out directly and we would be happy to breakdown the different areas and can direct you better hearing about things you guys like to do.

      We lived in SD for a few years. Happy to jump on a call with you and talk about what you love about SD and how it would be compared to living here.

    Hi. Just curious about medical in Rocklin. Are there different medical buildings or a main hospital there? Thanks!

    • @livinginnortherncalifornia
      @livinginnortherncalifornia  Před 2 lety

      There are medical offices in Rocklin. UC Davis has medical offices right off Whitney Ranch. There is a Kaiser Hospital in Lincoln and Roseville which are the next cities over and there is also a Sutter Hospital in Roseville as well.

    Do you get fire smoke in the area very often?

    • @livinginnortherncalifornia
      @livinginnortherncalifornia  Před 2 lety

      Generally no but last summer we did got alot of smoke from the fires in the Sierras but the fires were really bad last year in alot of places throughout California. Its not too bad otherwise. It really just depends where the fires are and how big they get. Where are you from?

      Its definitely become more diverse over the years and more so recently with people moving here from different places. Everyone is very welcoming.
