  • Learn how a large cactus is made ready to be dug for transplant. See the entire process from wrapping and removing the three largest arms, to wrapping and digging the main stem.
You can find several videos that show how to plant a large cactus, but few showing how to dig one.
The cardon cactus is almost identical to the saguaro found in Arizona. It is native to northwest Mexico. It grows much faster than the saguaro. However it is not frost tolerant and therefore not a wise choice for Phoenix or Tucson. The process to dig a saguaro is the same.

Wow, what skill! This was fun to watch. Going to forward it to my daughter who is deathly afraid of cactus.

Why would you guys cut off the arms!!!? 🤦‍♂️Talk about amateur night! Should have watched a relocation crew from Arizona do it.

How about this: When you remove a half ton of cactus from a backyard with no access for machinery and do it for the first time, and intend to plant the arms separately, and produce a video, we will watch.
      Ok?
