In yugioh gamestates tend to simplify over time rather than get more complex.
So actually in yugioh a simpler turn is more likely to happen on turn 3 than turn 1.
I play all my shit first turn and pray you dont have any one of 1000 hand traps that neuter my deck! Gee, i don't miss old school yugioh when it was about skill and fun and not being a cringy asshole whose whole deck is built to counter you!

Watching the first two turns after everyone was able to choose their opening 7 hand was painful. NGL
It looked like only the Prof and SmallAnt understood the assignment.
Yeah it's honestly crazy to me someone didn't win by turn 3 at least. I probably have like 5 decks that if I could craft the perfect opening hand I would win turn 1
For real,.I'm glad prof eventually said they didn't know about the perfect hand before hand which made those somewhat vanila turns look less embarrassing

my decks dream hand is turn 3, 17 mana with a 15/15 menace protection from all colors commander and 7 cards in hand to do fun stuff.

Half of my game nights are filled with Competitive EDH players. 😢
Winning is nice and all, but it's not everything. As long as you love your cards and love the game, then you're already a winner 🏆
As a cEDH player, this deck is almost unplayable. It looks like a power 7-8 deck with a luck draw (mana crypt etc. in the opening).
I stopped going to my local game store because the community there was just too tryhard. Like yeah, I don’t expect my goofy meme decks to win, but it felt like people were genuinely annoyed at having to play against me because it was a waste of their time to not be playing against other super competitive players. I’m sticking to kitchen table for now.
@@wchenfulexactly, people underestimate cedh. At my lgs someone told me his animar list was a power level 10, so I played my winnota list and won turn 3 without contest.
Commander should be fun for all imo. If your deck is shutting people down, it probably shouldn't be played

My question is "Why didn't he just run a deck that could WIN turn 3, not just get scary, but end the game turn 3 (no more game actions are allowed because a player met a win condition turn 3)

for my magic deck i play affinity and big boys, turn 3 it will like almost 20 creatures, also my slyver turn 3 its like infinite slyvers XDD

I have a deck with a 8 drop Commander, I can drop as early as turn 3 with the right hand. Turn two if I have a perfect hand. But more often than not it drops around turn 5 or 6.
