Amazing documentary this particular clip came from is a much watch. They needed an extended break after this recording session. They’ve been trying to finish this song for years. They came to the conclusion that it could only be finished after living the amount of life they’ve lived. They needed to go through everything first before they could truly record this and put it on an album. Beautiful moment in the documentary.

My BIL introduced me to them 15 years ago and I have been a fan ever since. I have seen them in concert nearly a dozen times and my wife actually went to HS with them. They are considered native sons of North Carolina and you can hear why.
