A Master Cigar Blender Reveals His Hidden Craft | Meet Nicholas Melillo | Profoundly Pointless
I could listen to Nick Teach us about tobacco all day.
Man knows his stuff and then some
@@profoundlypointless You can say that again.
Being 110% passionate about your career will do that. I'm envious. I love his cigars too.
@@smokesgtp Him and Steve Saka are out there crushing it. There's a bitterness between DE and them, but if you got the golden touch, go work for yourself, you'll make a hell of a lot more money, and it's far more fulfilling.
@@RepublicofDebauchery their stuff is all I smoke these days. The Mi Querida original and the Tabernacle. Charter Oak Maduro for yardgars occasionally.
Though I will say the H99 is a damn good cigar.
Nick is the best. Great human.
Super nice guy. You can tell he knows his stuff, is passionate about the industry and treats people well.
His cigars are awesome. He makes a few of my favorite
A lot of great questions for Nick. I love hearing the questions from non-cigar smokers.
Thanks for checking it out. I'm not a smoker but I found the process fascinating
@@profoundlypointless Honestly, He gave you the bare bottom cliff notes. Watching someone not in the industry, asking questions like you were, was so fascinating to me. Love it!
What a fantastic interview! Well done!
This was a great interview! Nick seems like a great guy and it's really interesting to hear questions from the perspective of someone who doesn't smoke cigars
Thanks for checking it out. I really like him and his knowledge and insight into cigars is fascinating. I don't personally smoke cigars but the craftmanship and history is interesting
Great content, love Foundation cigars and nick, nick is my spirit animal.
He’s a solid dude. Knows his stuff
Crimson Tide refers to the submarines name… USS Alabama
I'm glad to see the full episode has more positive comments than the short.
I'm getting one of the king tut cigar box!
They do look impressive
I held one recently, smaller than it looks. Really looking forward to smoking the cigar that comes in it.
Myself as well. I'm patiently waiting to buy the Olmec in claro and maduro and the Senetjer.
Haha Nick was "18" when he had a cigar with his grandfather like I was "21" when I had my first beer.
Gotta keep it legal. You never know who's listening
@@profoundlypointless Haha touche
Some people claim their cigar has butter or cinnamon flavor. how can a cigar get those flavors?
Saka makes a cigar with pipe tobacco. 😊
The best advice for anyone who wants to follow in Nick’s footsteps is to have rich parents.
No, you don’t inhale cigars. Myself and many other cigar smokers do inhale some of the cigar smoke on each draw.
Interviewer doesn’t know shit about cigars holy f this made me cringe. Felt like a waste of Melillo’s time.
That's not true at all,you actually get less oxygen breathing through your mouth.I think people call others mouth breathers as a form of insult, like a dumbass mouth breather, just sitting around mouth agape, pondering the great mysteries of life.😮 Yeah look it up you'll see your nose was meant to be breathed through.
