I think they're fantastic. To me, this could easily be ritual of destroying themselves. I sense the pain behind Bambie's turmoil. It comes across like they are saddened over everything they've lost, but there is power in transmuting that.

I had similar thoughts. They were considering boycotting because of Israel/Palestine, so I think the song choice is very deliberate. It critiques Eurovison (They'd rather pick the Star than the Moon) but they also critique themself in the same lyric. I think they made the right choice though - they did more being part of it and very cleverly got their anti-war message past the censors.

As someone who works with the Morrigan, Bambie radiates Her energy like a binfire. The Morrigan often appears to me as a dark Femme presenting non-binary being Who revels in breaking taboos and with definite appetite for devouring the patriarchy. The idea of performing a ritual against the patriarchy right out in the open and using one of the establishment's own institutions to transmit it's effect across the world would so very much appeal to Her.
If you're interested, Bambie's video "Ritual" shows them doing something similar but less intense years earlier.

As an Celtic witch I have to say I'm really impressed by your knowledge of Celtic neo-paganism. I will say though I thought the hair style represented Cernunos to compliment the Triskelion on their third eye given a lot of our practices take roots in the idea of balance between diametric pairs, almost like what's represented in Levi's baphomet. The Ogham on their face did indeed say "crown the witch". I think they said that this song is about being overlooked and set aside so I assumed the performance was to represent them overcoming the sort of inner demons that those feelings can create. I think they definitely leaned into the common perceptions of witchcraft as something spooky and played with that idea, plus they are very gothy in general so it's no surprise they would go for a dark presentation but I can't speak for the nature of their own personal craft or their intention. Loved their performance though, felt awesome to see our pagan origins presented on the world stage. First, i love you as a person because you want truth and kindlyness and no behaviour that is essentiell for me in life, spiritual and material.
I am european and love rockmusic and metal, so most people who are in christianity without understanding christs message call me a ubeliever or a sinner (yes like every human ever existed since adam and eve, biblically said) or worse, but never read or experienced god is a loving, forgiving, and listening divine being.
And we are teached to be loving all our brothers and sisters and it is to him to judgde over mankind. To tell truth, listen, and act reflected by our knowledge.
I say this because much people in christianity are ignorant, unknowing, or full of love and guilt (like me, i am an sinner by choice, or better i did crimes against god not sins but out of spiritual understanding. I am a very logic and rational but also creative person, so god was a unbelieveable option to exist real. But i experienced his guidance and existance, and his love, but i am all else than a saint, just able to accept i am a sinner as the bible says but god is not wanting from me to be perfect, just not messing up against my feelings of what is wrong or i do not understand).
So i have said i am loving christ and believe his teachings. Now what is important to tell/ask:
First of all: i understand you are disgusted by the way conservative church is showing: same behaviour, most times worse than yourself i think, and then tell god blessed and saved them and all go to hell who do not join their twisted or moralic not lived just talkong about faith but live the other way. So i see what is called white magic often just as simple as the work of a healer in some conditions as posions, healing herbs, psychologic points, and by be loving and accepting each human, so each child of god.
But all what goes in the occult must be proved realy hard if it is a real good thing or something bad and dark liyng and just showing itself as good before it starts to hurt you, in spiritual or material form.
And in todays society things like white witches are mentioned every where but i need long to sepperate the materialistic things i exampled from the real occult and magical so someone can do studys of what which entity, damon, god called thing, angel or what else realy is and from where it comes.

I could not understand like 97-98% of the song...so it lost its impact on me. I'm going to have to look up the lyrics, then maybe I can be of support. I just don't quite get why they would use a necromantic chant in one of their songs??
