By FAR the best music in the game. My jaw dropped upon hearing this, and it fits the atmosphere of the final area perfectly. Not to mention the levels themselves are some of the coolest in the whole game. This melody and instrumentation just goes way too hard man

The airships and this world have this factory vibe. I feel like 2D Mario needs a bit more factory/high tech settings like this for the music mostly.

Definitely one of my favorite songs from this ost. I really like the vibe of the version that plays when you're idle, makes it sound like you're infiltrating a sci-fi factory.

I got the part at the end of the elephant one where is just that one chord over and over every time I went through a pipe and it was so friggin cool.

Honestly, my go-to Castle theme will always be from the Wii for nostalgic reasons, but even i can admit this is top tier.

This is by far the best Mario Bros Wonder music, (at least for me) because it just fits so well with Castle Bowser.

I’m a huge Kirby fan, so I’m always a sucker for really amazing factory themes. It’s so cool seeing a mainline Mario game tap into that same well, this track is sooooo good. It really gets you pumped for the finale
This awesome track feels like a Super Meat Boy track mixed in with a Capcom Arcade soundchip. Really fitting for those awesome final levels.

@@DogsRNice glad I'm not the only one too lol. It really hit me how close it sounds to something in Super Meat Boy when I heard it for the first time while playing + those synth waves in the background sounds like its taken straight from some Capcom games in the Arcade machines too lmao.
Definitely some parts in this track that has Danny Barowsky's signature touch to it, I hear it too
I came here specifically to see if anyone had commented this. Listening to it immediately reminded me of Forest Funk (with a bit of dark world stuff thrown in for flavor)
The synth at 0:37 sounds like it's ripped straight from Super Meat Boy. glad to see other people agree its got that classic "Meat Boy" flair to it

this is just amazing. It gives you a sense of "you've made it this far, face these trials and concentrate". Also some part of this remind me of the Tower Cap of Mario Odyssey
One of my favorite themes in Wonder, goes with the 'dark' and neon like aesthetic the castle and airship levels goes for.
Easily my favorite song in the whole ost! I literally want the level to not end because of how much of a banger this music is like I can't stop listening to it! This is the first time we get a factory themed level in a 2D Mario and oh man they absolutely nailed it! This world have one of my favorites levels in the game, they went so hard with this world
This reminds me of Kirby’s Return to Dreamland so much, lot of the songs in Egg Engines sound similar to this

This is now the music that plays in my head when I am trying to avoid Maw-Maws as a goomba! Seriously when I first heard this I thought it was going to be a stealth level!

I loved the ENTIRETY of this World, and this theme and their levels slap SOOOO HARD!
This my favorite level style, seeing the whole environment move to the beat of the music was just jaw-dropping. I will NEVER EVER forget this game, it was just so perfect in every way.

Easily the best part of the game. The music and the levels were so good. I wish we had more bowser levels.
With the amount of build up towards bowsers castle and the fact that he himself, IS the castle, I expected it to be the largest world in Mario wonder. The setting was too good and I wish it had been used more.
The fact that bowsers castle is technically still apart of the hub world and not it’s own is a crime. Amazing levels, I need a directors cut.

By far the best final world in a 2d mario game. The atmosphere was set perfectly, like the last gauntlet of challenges building up to the theatrical masterpiece that was the final boss level.
The music and levels themselves are such fresh bangers too.*
Imo only way they could have made this better is if you couldn't leave castle bowser till you either game over (showing him succeeding and then starting back to before entering the castle) or defeat bowser and finish the game, raising the stakes this world implies by a lot. Also make the missile meg level a 4 star difficulty to give a better first impression of what you're in for.

Its always the end of the world levels like Bowser Castle levels which are catchy and sentimental.
I would always do this on all the levels by not moving, allowing the music to soften the tone and remove the percussion, but in this world, it sounds the best in the game! I would stand still and try to time the best part to start moving again to pick the song back up. Idk if I'm the only one, lol

This theme kinda sounds like a mix of the more traditional Japanese style Bowser has gone for in Odyssey and a sort of sci fi facility, creating this Neo Traditional Japanese Facility theme that could only really be in a few contexts
Would love to see this style in a game involving time shenanigans where highly advanced technology exists as far back as the Meiji Restoration

Probably my second favorite bowsers castle theme, behind the one of Origami King. The vibes are so different than any other castle theme but it’s still so good.
Edit: if it makes sense, the others sounded red but this sounds purple.
