Thanks for your video, when I try to install the readymade footer after pressing ek button, I can see different readymade footers, I try to install free one, but it dosen't get installed what can be the problem.
Thanks for the excellent explanation, I used the plugin and it helped me a lot. I only have one problem. On mobile, when you open the drop-down menu and click on the desired option, it leads to the right place on the page, but does not close the menu - is there a way to fix this?

If you try this and it does not work, it is likely because your page is set to Elementor Canvas layout. Change it to Full Width and everything works just fine.

Whats the difference between elementor pro and elements kit
Thanks for the great tutorial! I have one issue.... I cant get to see the menu items in the Header after I choose the template you show in the video. I select the menu i wish to add, but after that the icon hamburger item remains in the same place... what am i doing wrong...its driving me crazy for the last 2 days...
I don't know if i understand you right but i think the reason the hamburger icon appears after selecting the menu, its because the menu is set to display in hamburger 'mode' even on desktop. You can change this so that the hamburger menu shows up only on tablet or mobile or both.

I dont know where I can set the menu display mode... what I managed to do is to change the responsive breakpoint to mobile mode. then it shows the content on desktop mode and tablet mode...and keeps the hamburger icon only for mobile. is there no way to display menu content on the mobile as well? :) thanks a lot for your help!
Actually... is it possible in elements kit to disable the mega menu for mobile and tablet device?

Hey, thanks for a great video. Your instructions are clear and concise. Sadly, having followed the steps, the header is not showing up on any of the pages of my website. The green 'active' button shows next to the header in the Elements Kit dashboard section, and it says 'entire site'. But no header! What could be going wrong?
I'm new to Elementor and had the same problem, for me the solution was changing from 'canvas' to 'full width', as full width is essentially the same as canvas (it's not boxed) but includes both header and footer areas automatically.

@@shobarsch no problem, happy to help :) you can set the whole site (i.e. new Elementor pages by default) to canvas/full width or on each page as required. Both can be set pretty much in the same place. First, open a page ready to edit in Elementor, then, for site-wide, click the hamburger menu on the top left sidebar, select Site Settings and you'll see 'Layout'. Click that and it will open to a selection of settings for Content Width, Widget Space, Page Title Selector, Stretched Section to Fit and the one we're after - Default Page Layout. Click the drop-down and choose your setting.
Alternatively, for individual pages, you can click the gear/cog icon at the very bottom left of the left sidebar, which is Page Settings. Under General Settings, below the Featured Image box, you'll see the same drop-down for Page Layout. Make your selection and press update. Sorted.

FYI, if anyone else would be wondering what's the difference and why bother, here's my take: with full width you get the 'standard' options of including headers and footers, although designed in a myriad of ways and colours, with different drop-downs, mega-menus etc, they are all essentially the 'Standard Header Menu'. If you truly want a WordPress site to look different to all the millions of others, canvas allows you to create your page and put your menus anywhere - pop-ups, slide-ins, roll-outs, fades, zooms, on-click, hover, in fact pretty much wherever or however you would like it to be. The one caveat being, make it user friendly, no point doing it if your user doesn't know it's there, or how to work it :)

Yes... Give it no background color. Then make sure all the 1st hero sections are underlying the header.
