Deicide released this song as a single on Christmas day LOL!! These guys have not lost their sense of humour!!!
However, the video clip for the song tells the story of a man loosing his faith, after accidentally killing his son, is not humorous at all. It is tragic and can be all too real....
I worked out the bassline by ear, so please excuse any possible mistakes....😅😅
I know mr Benton is using a pick, but I am mostly a fingerstyle player nowadays. So, I tried to make up for the plectrum's attack with extra power on the finger attack.

Yes man!!!! I've actually not heard this new album but what better way to make its aquitainance than with this perfectly executed hammering.
Can feel the extra force going through those strings which more than match Bentons picking.
Brought out the old 5 string for this one eh? It's nice, and serves the song well.
And a massive thank you for you recommendation I the description. It's an honour for a bass player of your calibre to mention the likes of me.

So yeah, I busted out the old btb for this one. I have kind of love/hate relationship with this bass. It doesn't play as smoothly as my Spectors or Corts. But the aggression in the midrange that it has, is something special. It is also so dynamic, that it shows mistakes very easy 😅😅😅
Also, it doesnt matter how many string you'got. With Deicide, you only need 2. The rest is up to the old mits.😂
