For the fools that keep saying Pep's success at City is solely down to money,
You can see that Roberto Mancini and Pellegrini splashed the cash like Pep but didn't produce results like Pep.
Both Pellegrini and Mancini stayed at City for a combined 6 seasons+
Both Pellegrini and Mancini both produced a combined trophy of 5.
In 7 seasons, Pep alone has won 14 trophies.
It's not about money spent. Never about it. But tactical genius.

Pep is indeed a great coach, and United has spent, i think, actually more than City has done the last 10 years, which says a lot about how poorly run United is, so they should take a deep look at themselves first and foremost.
Now, having said that, i feel these kind of videos only came about cause of City eventually winning UCL, limping it across the finish-line against a decent, but not great, Inter side, does not impress me much.

Man City did not spend as much as other Premiere League teams but Man City was one of the top 3 spenders. The difference in player salaries were not a significantt difference. Guardiola is a brilliant coach but to say money was not important is ludicrous. Would players like Haaland or de Bruyne stay in Man City without their big salary? You are oversimplifying. Man City's had players with the talent and a brilliant coach who knew how to exploit their talent with his strategy. But talented players and brilliant coach would only come and stay in Man City if they are among the top paid in the Premiere League or any other top European League. Guardiola and his players are in Man City because they are paid with the highest salaries in professional soccer. As this video concluded, Man City and Manchester United are the 2 top winningest soccer clubs in the Premiere League and they are the 2 top spending soccer clubs. Considering the amount of money these 2 soccer clubs have spent the difference in spending is not significant. What is significant is if you want the top coaches and footballers in the world to win trophies then you better have the Sterling Pound or Euros to pay the coaches and players to stay with your club.

I think the big Miss in this story is mentioning only Haaland for the 2022-23 season. The game changers are Alvarez and Akanji, not to mention a very good second Goal keeper that understood Pep's plan. Also, Grealish became a much improved player in 2022-23 season. High class player like Cancelo left, and it didn't affect the quality of the team. The defence was so solid that Stones started to play like a high quality midfielder. Nice one PEP. 👍

      MUFC 3rd at 115 years 🥉; League 1909 to EFL Cup 2023.
History is a period of time, preferably punctuated with successes, achievements, acquisitions, and accolades.
The club was founded in 1894, (anyone here even know about another now defunct club by the name of Manchester Central FC?) Manchester City supported Manchester Utd financially during an extended rough spell - even as far as financing the purchase their uniforms on occasion back in the day. Our European Cup Winners' Cup was earned in 1970 against Górnik Zabrze (Polish League) in Vienna. We've done much more within that one hundred and nineteen years of human experience.

Neutrals & City haters attempt to belittle the club for their spending. When the truth is over the last 8 years. Manchester rank 8th-9th in net spending in the Premier League. And yes, the 1st few years of Sheikh Mansour's ownership. Man City spent large sums acquiring better players. But that is merely what it took to get on par talent wise, with the likes of United/Chelsea/Arsenal. Who had previously been annually spending 3-4 times as much as City. Throughout the 90s & 2000s. Once Man City established themselves in the top 6 of the EPL. Their spending has been shrewd, calculated, & wise. As most of City's signings improve at the club. Which in turn allows City to be 1 of the best at selling players on. As a long time Manchester City fan. Having dealt daily with the hate towards the club I support. I've come to accept that regardless of what City do. Certain sections of the UK media & fans will always find something to criticize Man City for. Which is revealing in itself. As the City Group/Khaldoon Al Mubarak have built the club up tge right way. Building world class facilities, developing an elite academy & women's team, enriching the local community, providing jobs for many Mancunians. What sets Man City apart isn't money. All big club's across Europe spend money. It's that City have best in class personnel at every level of the club. I very much enjoyed your video essay on Man City.👍 it fills me with pride looking back at how far City have come over the last 15 years. C'mon City!!!🙌💙
