Kind of weird to see a influencer or CZcams star, go for a regular gig but this is the reality. Once a passion becomes a "job", it won't be long before burnt out happens. Crazy that you are documenting it happening and seeing how you are adjusting to it. Thank you for sharing.

I can relate. I was riding high on a sales job for a few years. Then things took a turn for the worst. It slapped me back into reality. I’ve decided to save some money so to go back to school.

@@byRoyalty yeah. I was going to school in Brigham Young University. The one in Idaho. Like a lot of us, I got recruited to do door to door sales. I was pretty good at it and it payed very well. Anyway, I don’t want to unload all my dirty laundry on you. Haha
But I had been battling mental illness and doubts about my faith for a long time. I made some bad decisions, like self medicating. Things came crashing down on me fast and hard. I went through a lot, but luckily I had friends and family there to support me. Right now I’m taking it slow, working, saving money, and trying to get better.
I left home at 18. I lived a pretty nice life. Now I’m 26 and back at my mom’s, working in a factory, and trying to get back on my feet. It’s a hard and humbling experience, but I am so blessed. I know a lot of people out there don’t have the resources I do.

I've been in your shoes, kind of. I had a successful business that ran itself and I got burnt out and lost along the way... I had all this free time on my hands and hated it. Eventuality the business failed and I went through bankruptcy and went back to the workforce. I worked at a factory and absolutely loved it. It felt great to work hard and be a part of a team. I now deliver propane and do a lot of manual labor and its great. No shame in it buddy!

Idk how this goes since I’m not in any of those influencer circles, but I always assumed that YT’ers who had a decent following and knew other influencers would have some form of hookup with jobs like the ones you mentioned or other unique jobs.

Good on you Andrew. I work at an investment bank during the day and took a second job at a bar getting paid very little after having a few problems in my life - mainly due to gambling. Best thing I’ve done in a long time - It made me realise the value of a dollar again after having to work so hard for barely anything. It totally changed my outlook and allowed me to get my shit together.

I worked at an amazon warehouse for 2 months, it was pretty nice for an introvert. No talking to people, all left alone, but the work was repetitive and mundane. It's double-sided, it was okay for a while but also sucked.
I worked there for 3 months. I was hired in October and then they fired me and 100+ others after the new year when we weren't needed.

I liked Amazon until walking 20-25k steps a night landed me with foot surgery and on going issues. Those concrete floors! Oh! And I was a manager. It’s a great job for someone younger than me!

@@skytrakn I can relate as I did 8 hour shifts at Home Depot on concrete floors. Invest in very good shoes and additional insoles too. You know you have good shoes on concrete if you feel like you are standing on grass.

I’ve heard being a “picker” at Amazon is dam near slave labor. Not the best job to choose for the first one in 10 years, but they say if u can make it through the first week (which most don’t) it gets easier 🤣🤣🤣
If it's 3 days a week and you get 4 days off, it's not slave labour. Go ask those factory workers in China or Honduras if they get to chill for 4 days. He'll be fine. Those jobs are perfect for the right person who can put their head down and stay busy.

Set your expectations low. You're not always going to be acknowledged when you go above and beyond. It will be frustrating. So its best to handle those situations by putting your blinders on an only looking forward. Forget about what other people are up to.
