#3 was exactly what I needed. I have been so drained and I haven't been enjoying life because I've been so stressed. Almost as if I'm punishing myself because of how my life is going. I was resistant to this message at first. As soon as I saw it in my sub box I rolled my eyes (at my future self, not gem) I was like “ughhh what?” I would be perfectly content basking in my misery and sadness today. But against my better judgement I watched this video and was immediately drawn to the rose quartz.
This message was exactly what I needed to hear today. I’ve been in a low vibration due to this process of healing and purging of the past that I’m in but there is so much to enjoy in this present moment. Growing up, I was not well liked. In time, I got kicked out of the Marines, accused of stealing money from this bank, my father got M.S., we lost our apartment, my car was repossessed, I broke up with my girlfriend, my massage table and books were taken when another car suddenly broke down and I misplaced the information for the towing mechanic and company that had come from another town over. At that time, I was living with another girlfriend; and both she and her friend who I had been with before her, didn't believe in me or my dreams; and said as much multiple times.
I went took a Greyhound to California, and wound up staying with a Philippinia woman and her 18 year old daughter. She kicked me out when I couldn't find a job, as I was trying to become an actor. I didn't have the confidence at the time to even try to audition. And that was the whole reason I quit my job and moved across the country!
So, I was once again, homeless.
After staying on the streets for about 6-7 years, contracting MRSA Staph Infection, I finally got a voucher for an apartment. Before that, my mom died of cancer, another girlfriend drank herself to death. Later, while still in the apartment, my martial arts teacher in Kali, died from stomach cancer, and then my dad finally passed away from M.S. - I was a wreck.
About 6 or 7 months ago, I quit my job to pursue a lifepath having to do with mentoring people. That hasn't taken off yet, and I work one night per week sometimes for my mentor.
So, I've looked into other ways of making money. Been training myself how to market, sell, promote, write sales copy, video edit, build up my CZcams channel, writing a book on Self-Mastery, and a ton of other things. All this, in preparation to break out and succeed and never have to look back. Never have to rely on the kindness, but also the whims of some organization to keep a roof over my head.
I have a drive the likes you've probably never seen. Part of it is from trauma and never wanting to relive that kind of life again, part of it comes from an internal compulsion to achieve some kind of Destiny that I've always felt called to; and part is that I want to experience financial independence and freedom. I want to be someone different.
And it's been hard. Seemingly impossible at times; but I wouldn't trade my experiences for 'good' ones; because they helped form the resolve, imagination, and ability to adapt that I have today.
Now more than ever, I am determined to live the life of my dreams.
