Aww! the badgers are gorgeous. Bear poop here in the colonies is also known as scat. Here in the Maritimes we are alive with ticks so take care, check the puppers all the time. Mint and eucalyptus are great repellants...you two would smell amazing...just sayiing! Hugs

One of the big reasons I started following your vlog back in 2021 was the way you guys always sought to educate your viewers, as well as entertain them. As I live in suburban Chicago, nearly everything you talk about is new to me, and this week was no exception. I loved seeing the badger family and learning a bit about them, so once again, thank you for the education!

that was really cool! Thanks for sharing. I had a book I loved as a kid called The Children of Cherry Tree Farm. It was about a farm in England somewhere and there was a badger and other wildlife. So idyllic compared to the desert southwest U.S. where I grew up with snakes, scorpions, panthers, and really mean badgers!
I'm looking forward to learning more about badgers from the trust's website. When I was a kid, we had a Sealyham Terrier and learned that they were bred to chase badgers out of their sets (didn't realize until your video that that is the proper name for where they live). The dogs are on the small side but fierce enough to stand up to the badgers, which were described as quite vicious.

I had badgers,foxes and hedgehogs all together in my back garden in the UK and they all got on with one another just fine.
