Usually this is not the kind of festival you play (although I enjoed it) A: We liked playing here although we were quite nervouse befor the show. It was an amazing experience and from my point of view (Chris) it was so amazing we were sad it ended so soon. Question 2: Would you play again on a metal festival? A. It is possible, this was a great experience Question 3: Is Blutengel going metal? A: Already we are no clean electronic musc anymore. We already featered electric guitars on the last CD. OK, in the final mix they were quite in the backgound but we had them. It is possible that there will be more on the next CD but we will not become a Metal Band Question 4: Did you practice? A: Kind of, but we are not a classik resersal band. Everyone is practicing for themself and if everone is ready it will be good Question 5: Chris, how do you see yourself are you more a producer or a musican? A. both Question 6: Ulli, going back, how was it joining Blutengel? A: Kind of hard. I did not have any big stage experience before I joind the band, but it was great! Chirs signed my presious band project with his lable and after a while he asked me to join his band Question 7: Chris, do you remember your first time on stage? A: It was horrible. It was 1993 and I never wanted to become a singer but we had no one else so I had to. It was in a club where I was the DJ and I asked if I could play there with my band. A: Chis: An exgirlfriend of mine, it was her fault. We went to a club and it was boring there so I looked around found a room in the basment. It was drak there and the people looked strange. The music was different and I liked it. After that I started buying some CDs and that's when it started. A: Ulli: It is my cousins vault :-) She intruduced me to the music. Question 9: Did you expect the success? A: (Chis) No, at the beginnig Blutengel was just a side project and my lable was not happy about it. I had a different band at this time. Terminal Choice was the name. But Blutengel became bigger and bigger and then I had to decide. Well and I chose Blutengel Question 10: Did you plan you success or what was you Plan B? A: Chris: Plan B was continue to work, but the music took more and more time and so I had to decide. It was a though choice but in the end the music won. and so I quit my job as a pharmaceutical staff. Ulli: I am still working in a "normal" job :) music is my part time job Question 11: How do you see yourself withing the black scene? A. Well it is going well and we like it we have great fans! Non the less we like to surprise people. Our styl is evolving and the fans are true and this is great. We like to explore new styles therefore we also tend to break with common trends. Question 12: What do you think when the people party hard in front of the stage? A Ulli: that is why I am doing thiis. This is why I give everything on stage. It is great if the people like it and therefore I give my best. This was the first time we had crowdsurfers. First I thought: "Are these people thursty and did not come out of the crowed?" It was amazing! Question 13: Crowdsurfer on Summer Breeze how does this fit to your music A: Well it fits well. Peole know, we like to play live and only because we play goth music it is not nessesary to be too serious. Threrefor if the poeple like it they can do whatever they want as long as they do not hurt each other. Question 14: What is the greatest memory you have from your Blutengel time? Chris: My first show, directly in front of thousand people. I was so nervouse. Ulli: My first Mera Luna Festival 2005. It was my first year with Blutengel and we went directly to Mera Luna with 25000 people. I was so nervouse. Glad I wore a long dress so people did not see my legs shaking Question 15: Is there a musical master plan? A: No, it is all open. The next album will not be released before 2017. We are already working on songs, but they still are still changing based on the experience we are makiing at the moment. But on thing we promise, if you liked the last CD you willl like the next one as well Question 16: Is there a special question you always wanted to answer? A. No, but this is a great question! Question 17: Is there a question you cannot hear anymore? A. No, poeple can ask us everything and we are happy if we can answer their questions, we are not mad if we have to answer questions several times, when people aske them they want to know the answer, so we provide it. ------------------- Well, that is basically it.
