California tried to be its own Republic back in 1846 and barely lasted 25 days. Foodtopia unironically would last longer.

What are they going to do? what's the gimmick with this one? you can't do the "animated thing that looks like it's for kid thing but turns out it's crude" anymore.
Considering it's a follow up to the first film, It has a more adult rating (so it won't appear in the kids category for Prime) and people online nowadays are aware of the movie: The gimmick is that there's no coincidental gimmick, It straight up follows up the first movie

The people who animated Sausage Party were forced to work overtime and on weekends, they were paid very little, those who were either fired or had to quit had their names removed from the credits. And I believe they were threatened with being blacklisted from the animation industry too
