Four Corners was there to capture it all, from the deeds of disgraced tycoon Alan Bond to the criminality of police in the Moonlight State and, in a world scoop, the revelations of the French bomb plot which sank the Rainbow Warrior.

Where's the 1983 'Big League' story on Kevin Humphries? That was one of the most significant and brilliant investigations by Chris Masters and Four Corners. Now that most people in that story are now deceased, could we see it again?

The 1980's was the best era to be alive in, everything was in perfect sync and alignment around the world somewhat (more than 2020) especially Australia. It's an era never to be repeated ever again and I remember ABC being neutral and non political as well which is a far cry from their 2020 variant now. I even credit them partially for my education as well in the late 1980's but that was back then and now via 2020 beyond?!....
So is this just a bunch of clips and headlines but it won't be telling the whole story?
With the notable exception of music, the 80s was a terrible time indeed.

Nonsense!! It was the best era to exist in period! Perhaps 2020 beyond is more your thing?! And it'll only get worse 2020 beyond which is possibly your preference as well?! Btw I also have relations in Finland as well and it was a struggle for them as well to exist in and I'll admit it's way better now in the 21st century as well except the winters which can be very harsh...
Australia will NEVER have a decade of such enthusiasm & spirit than the 80's......... Racial & sexual minorities WEREN'T involved in Police Forces, or the education of 5-18 year olds. THAT'S why common sense, logic & charity "beginning at home" started dying out in the 90's.
