Old minecraft versions were objectively ass, there are more features and less bugs now. People just get distracted, and even back then they still did. You can play old versions, rush diamond gear, beat the ender dragon, and feel like you have nothing to do. This has been this way since the end was added, 13 YEARS AGO. Minecraft is still fundamentally the same game and you can just rush the ender dragon or continue building. Me and my friends have a realm that has been going on for 5 years since 2019, we all have broken gear but what do we do now? We build. Minecraft has not changed, you have. I started in 2013 with xbox 360 edition and I was always excited for new versions, never thought "minecraft lost its identity" because new blocks were added.
It depends. I think folks approach this from the wrong angle. Minecraft is immune to criticism because every issue can be reflected back onto the player. Because Minecraft is a reflection of what YOU want, any issue YOU have is an issue with YOU and not the game. So the whole "New Minecraft is bad because..." doesn't really work. I think this is how the game has lasted so long!
Minecraft has lost its identity 👍 thanks to updates and the player base. Im allowed an opinion. Also if you listened to the full video youd have heard I still play the game traditionally myself with a 6years old world with my twitch community. I gave my opinion. You got mad 👍
@@romantsar8344 Im gonna elaborate for the other guy because im pretty sure i know what he means so new minecraft is better for older players who already are familiar with the game because they already know how everything works but in new minecraft they have way more items and features to work with but older minecraft is better for newer players because it is less overwhelming and more simple.
i miss the basic times where all you did was explore and build silly things or try to make a city in creative

I disagree, but also agree a bit. I think new Minecraft is better for older players, but worse for new players.
