Hope you all had a superb day!
It’s been a great Easter. Hope you and your family have a blessed day. Half way through the video makes me want to dust off my detector😢. ~ Texas
@@nascarmommam5915 those Garrett's are expensive but I'm positive they're way worth their weight in horse shoes. I was thinkin that possibly be a little cheaper in our local pawn shops but NOPE!! Rest assured i can guarantee that if i had one the dust wouldn't get a chance to accumulate. My dad got the detecting bug back in the early 80's so our family got to go on digs with him,,,, now I've got his old machine (compass) it's a relic its self!! Now I'm needing to pull an upgrade outa my rear or at least a horse shoe. 🤭
Roy’s horse was named Trigger. I lived down the road from them when I was a kid. Trigger was already gone at that point but Roy and Dale were really cool, nice people.
When I was about 8 my Dad and Mom were friends with Dale and Roy...They were Strong Christian folks who were very kind to us.....💖
Been there many times when I was an over the road trucker.... Actually, I've been in every state In the lower 48, :cept Alaska.. miss those days...
Keep on keeping on 😊😊😊😊

...
great finds enjoyed the video😊
That was fun. The new metal detectors should be here on Wednesday. I can’t wait to try them out. I’ve found some pieces of metal tracks for a Cat, the head of a Pulaski tool, axe head, aluminum pot, a large metal ring, and a collection of rifle cartridges. They are all different calibers including one for a Sharps and one for a Japanese WWII rifle. They were all one the edge of the upper pasture where you have a clear shot down to the lower pasture where the creek is. There are several deer and elk herds that cross the creek there and it’s a perfect ambush spot for them. They had a Montana Veterans Ceremony with Civil War, Spanish-American War and WWI veterans camped in the pastures here.
Martha, were you part of this dig? The reason i ask is because you said "here" and they had a ceremony for Montana veterans ect ect. Just wondering.
@@muddawgkomm9642 no. I’m talking about my ranch in MT. It had the post office and store on it. My house was built in 1915 and had both of those in the house. There are things to find everywhere near me and we have permission to use the 1000 acres across the road too. Another old town was on it and we have found part of it. I’ve talked with him about it before.
look like fun
Thanks for the video. You drove through where I was raised, Bristol TN. Yep it is pretty in that area and very hilly.
Your commentary is very cool 😎.
Even disappointed with your finds, your sense of humor makes me feel better...🕊️
Beautiful scenery on the ride up to Virginia and a beautiful place to metal detect.
When you found the first full shoe and we could hear the excitement in your voice, I knew it was on.
One thing I noticed that wasn't there, fire ants.
Thanks for taking us along Dude.
Happy Easter to You and all of your gang.
Hope there is several more videos from this trip.
nice stuff you have found.
Ty for the adventure buddy
Wow,what a video,I'm exhausted from digging all that iron. GLHH
My daughter lives in Roanoke Virginia a beautiful place visit her whenever I can.
I live in West Virginia but have been to Virginia many many times it is a very pretty state . Those purple trees are Red Buds .
Happy Easter EA! Thanks for letting us go out with ya today!! Have a great day my friend!!
Thanks for coming
Roy Rodgers horse was called trigger 😚
Roy Rodgers horses' name was Trigger...I'm here for ya bro..... Lol
My Dad and a bunch of step-family live in and around B'ham, and I live in Altoona Pennsylvania. We don't have any green on the trees yet but starting to get some buds. I don't like the long winters here, that's why I'd prefer to live further South again. Altoona is in a valley of the northern Appalachians. It's incredible when the tree's are green.
Keep up the good video's! By the way...."Thanks for reading my message" 😂
There are some goodies in that place.
i hoped so
Super Cool
I love Virginia , Alabama is home but Virginia feels close to it .
Roy Rogers is my favorite Fast Food place. Get a Double R Bar Burger!

Was just fixing to enlighten you on roy Rodger horse lmbo someone already did i see love ya brother be safe
5:02 I've never figured out why they're called red bud trees. They're not red.
when you get the back ground noise change the channel or frequency
it was my pinpointer
Roy Roger's was a cowboy trigger was his horse
Wikipedia says that aluminum horseshoes are for lessening the strain to the horses legs... Many horse people prefer the aluminum horseshoes because they wear well and are not prone to create infection like the iron ones do, occasionally... Wikipedia says that I'm almost a genius 😂!!!! Almost 🙄
That was an aluminum horseshoe, if you look at it there's absolutely no rust on it, aluminum does not rust
😊😊😊😊😊
Happy Easter y'all !! This was a fun roadtrip and dig...I never knew they made aluminum horseshoes 🙃
Me neither
I have been to Virginia and yes it’s a beautiful state. Man I need to get my detector out and see if I can remember how to use it. I will make an effort this year to truly get back into it. I think my hunting goes about as good as yours. Lol definitely enjoy your chain videos! You found a G and now a O...what’s that spell 😉 GO. Time for you to find something great. 👍🏻 I still like the horseshoes. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. ~ Texas
Was this a DIV hunt ?
not sure what that is
It's an organized relic hunt hosted in Virginia a few times a year. "Digg'in In Virginia", check out some of their YT videos of cool stuff, by the way, really like your channel, I use to live north of you in Gadsden 😎✌️
