Custom sounds programmed on MS2000 for the next CD of my prog-rock band
Le cose che più apprezzo e sfrutto in questo sintetizzatore:
1) controlli in tempo reale delle principali fonti di modulazione del suono
2) il controllo in tempo reale del delay (purtroppo solo quello)
3) il controllo delle modulazioni attraverso tre parametri programmabili sul sequencer
4) l'estrema facilità di apprendimento e uso dello strumento
5) la configurazione dei program, fino a 16 per banco, immediatamente disponibili in live - Hudba

I really enjoyed this. I have a MS2000BR I haven't done much with. Watching this is inspiring me to get back into it.
Being an old timer synth player I have always wanted this beauty for it has a great organic vintage Korg sound with balls to match. Had a Korg PS3100 back in the very early 1980's but lost it and others in a fire. soooo sad. I would do almost anything to have that synth back but there around 7 to 8 k if you can find one. The MS 2000 would do it for me and at around $500.00 bucks or so on ebay you can't go wrong. Great demo.
Wow. you are the master. this is synth heaven. I have one of these. All I can get is dirty synth sounds. You sound amazing.
The MS2000 is an affordable "must have"!!
Next saturday i'll get mine for (450€) +/- 500 dollars in Mint condition!

the sound in 1:50 to 3:02 reminds me of Chronologie 1/3 part with the gliding synth sound. Excellent sounds!
Excellent sounds! I love the MS2000, I have the rack version and even the presets sound awesome IMHO. I also love progrock, I'll have to check out your band!

Around 5 minutes this sounds a lot like a waldorf microwave. I had no idea an MS2000 could do all this. I have been pretty lazy and just used it for default patches with a minimal amount of tweaking :-) Shame on me
è possibile sfruttare il sequenzer (e la modulazione del pitch per esempio nel seq 1) con synth esterni tramite il midi out?per ora riesco solo a fare degli arpeggi con la tastiera interna (io ho la versione rack)

WOW! How did u make the first sound patch???? Got that MS 2000....but no "PAN STRING" so I guess u created from the first patch A1 (originally "Stab Saw")....would give me a hand???? Thank you SO much!!!!
Sounds like a change of the Attack, Sustain, and release. Changing the stab into a more "pad" type sound.

I lost the manual for it years ago and I'm looking for any help on how to customize patches so as to assign cutoff to the mod wheel, help anyone?
Scott Russell, you can do it through the virtual patch, sending MIDI 2 to Cut off.
How much cost this sysentitaort?
Do you know how can I restore the factory patches?
Its in the settings of the synth, near the end of the menu.

ho ricevuto stamane l ms2000,l'ho collegato,si accende ma non suona.
le demo suonano regolarmente, ma non emette suoni alla pressione dei tasti.
sono in assoluta buona fede con colui da cui l'ho preso (lo ha fatto visionare da un tecnico di un negozio e ho la ricevuta di diagnostica).
sai cosa possa essere?è un problema diffuso,vedo.
intanto l'ho smontato tutto e gli ho passato lo spray per i contatti...sperando;
oggi provo a fare il load del factory preset.

I want one of these units so bad. They seem reasonably priced too, I just don't know what the hell I'll be doing to make sounds. Thats why you learn though right? hahah.
The ms 2000 sounds more warm than the radias . I love the Radias but I must admit that the ms 2000 and microkorg sound warmer " out of the box" Awesome sounds
is this reverb from the Korg itself or do u use external hardware?

Can't decide between this or the Ms-20 mini
That would probably depend on which synths you already have. Eventually, I'd like to have a MS2000, but currently I have a lot of analog modeling synths. Korg Kronos, Z-1 & Triton w/EXB-MOSS, Yamaha Motif w/PLG150-AN & EX5, Alesis Fusion & Kurzweil PC3K. So If it were me, I'd probably go with the Mini, because I don't have a single, pure analog synth. (though I have several digital/analog hybrids. (Casio HT-6000 & Casio CZ-1, Korg DW8000, Roland JX-10, etc)
So if I didn't already have many synths or analog modeling synths, I'd probably go with the MS2000, first. The MS-20 Mini is monophonic, has no internal FX, etc. You can do more with the MS2000 & you have a greater, tonal palette. That's just my opinion.
Do yourself a favour and choose this one... believe me...! Besides it´s out of production... on the contrary you have toooooons of MS-20 mini outhere on the Market!
clarifaco Yea. You can do a lot more w/the MS2000, than you can w/a MS-20 Mini. Ideally it would be great to have BOTH, but if you can choose only one,....MS2000 is the way to go.

Lots of sync sounds there...
Just a standard sound with lots of phaser/flanger added to it.
ms 20 + microkorg x 2=ms 2000
The stuff you're doing from like 2:20 - 3:00 or so reminds me of Jimmy Page taking a violin bow to his electric guitar!
