Totally agree. It's a shame David Seymour attacked Winston Peters during the campaign. If he hadn't he would have got about 15% of the vote. We need a strong NZF and a strong ACT in government, less of the LabourLite National crowd.

      So is Government !?🤔
Go to Richard Vobes posts ,
Especially in the last couple of days and you will find out how not to pay rates ,
      Taxes ect !👍
Basically there charges are illegal by law ?
They scare you into paying ?
      Note :
Where did you get your birth name from your parents right ?
Your parents registered you with government ,
The contract you live under is
Your parents contract with government ,
You haven't entered into a contract with any government yourself ,
There for NOT libel for any any fines , taxes , rates , ECT
I forget the name of the specific post ?
But the lady was very informative ,
And it applies here and all around the world in every single democracy especially Commonwealth countries for us 👍😉😎🎱

Councils, Kevin you are so right, corruption and secret road deals, apart from others, on a huge scale. Hamilton CC would be a good start, roundabouts and speed (totally unnecessary) bumps that actually hinder traffic making many parts of the road very unsafe. Auckland too, on a massive scale.

For the peasants only do "actions have consequences". There's only two classes now, the very rich, and those who have nothing. Which was exactly the plan, take away the middle class. The thing is, those with money, normally inherited it, they didn't work for a cent.

Good speech... very hard to forget the cause of this cultural and economic crime. Lawyers and police need to be held to far higher standards then they have been breaking law to enforce law has been the norm/coverups/withholding evidence etc, maybe lowering the elite status of their clubs so more can access their 'services' so law and order can literally be seen again will reconnect rhetoric with action again "Twice as many getting paid half as much" will produce less elite outcomes more often(more employment opportunities at lower initial training costs), introduction of compulsory body cameras will improve accountability and reduce beuracracy. Just ideas. All the best with these reforms, a generation too late? Pathways to normalization need to be offered instead of dime a dozen convictions too...need to increase productivity somehow...morale

  • @mikebarton
    @mikebarton Před měsícem

With respect to law and order all the legislation ACT has touted so far is simply ambulance at the bottom of the cliff. Policies that have been tried before and failed before.
We should be looking at community programmes involving early intervention. More work around drug therapy including, and especially, alcohol.
Further tightening of gun legislation as opposed to weakening it.
Even things like open prisons reduce recidivism and, bonus, they're cheaper to run.

Correct prison beds do not reduce crime, but, in this country a life sentence is a joke. When a life sentence means exactly what it says " prison for life " you do not get out at least there is somewhere to keep these people. I always find d it odd that when a dog bites a person everyone wants it put down but there are rapists, murderer s and child molesters who serve a few years and are then let go. Which crime is the greater ?

Always likes Seymour and the fact my sister hated him so badly made me feel even better (she’s a screaming leftie…literally)…but watching David in person show unbelievable arrogance to someone asking a question he didn’t like made me take a longer look. He’s got the gift of the gab for sure, but got a feeling he’s just part of the labour/national uni party. Hope I’m wrong, but when he talks down to then ignores a man and calls him a no body for daring to ask a simple question…then I’ve got my doubts. Not here say…I was there at the time. This lady here seems great…maybe she needs more air time and not David.

    • @MajesticDemonLord

Interesting - I have never had that experience meeting David (have done on a few occassions) - I once asked him a question about philosophy - specificially on the promulgation of grievance studies and activist disciplines in Universities. To my surprise, he talked about recently reading the book by James Lindsey on that subject.
If he understands the philosophy that is driving the unwanted change, then he is in a good place to counteract it.
