Another fantastic job. Ever thought about teaching watch repair on a more formal basis? Klein School of Watch Repair. Maybe a community college course for engineering students? Could be interesting for all involved. Anyhow, very nice work!

I’m having my 8119 serviced right now. I wish I could have had you do it. Mine looks a lot like this one. It’s got a few more dings on the case than this one,and the crystal is unbelievably scratched. You should look up the Frijid Pink version of House Of The Rising Sun. Beautiful job by the way. I’ve never seen how the crown is put together.

I don't know how much this restoration cost, but I'm sure it wasn't a small amount, at what amount of repair costings would you advise to leave it and buy a new watch?

the straight edge is actually closer to correct as the bevel plates phased out 12 months earlier on the 6105, at the same time that the horseshoe back disappeared.

Sorry about that - I went in and put a stop to them. CZcams opted me in without asking me, and I had to manually take them all down.

Could you do a spoof one day where everything goes wrong? You spill coffee on the movement, you bend one of the hands, you scratch the dial and Sabrina come in screaming that she’s taking the cat and going back to live with her folks.
