- well it took me a while to get to this point, over two years in fact but I finally, these two oh boy they have done everything for me and I finally had the time to sit down and showcase their full romance with a TWIST. it's no lie that us in the sanvers fandom deserved better than what we got as did these two characters, so I decided to do this video with a new ending for us all, hopefully it does what I tried to do justice.
the au is basically just at the end where the baby storyline never happens and the show ends on them being engaged okay cool.

The first 3 seasons of SG were so much better than the rest of the series. The relationship between Alex and Maggie is so natural by comparing it with the one with Kelly. The chemistry between the actresses was totally different.

I've watched this one to many times. I love their relationship because it reminds of how I would feel with my potential girlfriend. Alex reminds me of me because she gets all gushy and excited over Maggie and they are one of the most relatable couples.
100% same, I'm back here again month after month I think I've liked nearly all these comments and related to the heartbreak.
Sanvers was the reason I came out to my family, cos I wanted something like this I still do just with an actual happy ending.
They reacted badly like Maggies in way but instead of telling me to go they tried to ignore it and hope that my bisexaulity would go (after like 2 years Im still bi (gay af tho).

It breaks my heart that they decided to pair Alex up with the next female character available to them... the Olsen sister. They have NO chemistry whatsoever, which is weird because Alex has chemistry with EVERYONE, she could have chemistry with Lena's AI and it wouldn't make me bat an eyelid, and yet she gets put with the ONE person she hasn't any chemistry with... I don't get it... If I were the show, I'd put in a dream sequence where Alex had to choose between Lena, Maggie, Sarah and forcably remove Ms Olsen from the pile.

About this Shipp for me: I spent the entire first season without shipping them because I didn't think they would be together until the end of the season. In the second season as they were still together I started to ship them totally, but they ended at the end and I just couldn't believe it. So currently I can't ship Alex with anyone other than Maggie
