This month's Bee's Knees Lacquer collection is inspired by the video game Elden Ring- part 2. Sale begins 7/19 at 7pm ET, and the preorder will end on 7/28 at 11:59pm ET. There is a soft cap on items of 1000 ready to ship polishes. There will NOT be a full collection option, and because of the sheer bases, customers may see some small speckles in bottles. Unfortunately I have not been feeling BKL since Jan of this year. Something has changed with them and I’m not feeling it. I haven’t purchased outside of a few from PPU since the beginning of this year. I dunno what’s going on. They are my favorite brand but the finishes and color combos are hitting like they used to.
Awww I’m sorry to hear that! I do feel like their vibe has changed since repoening. I can’t put my finger on it!

I have not been loving the sheer formulas and while I absolutely have loved past release Lion cousins and siblings, these look less opaque than the others. It feels like BKL is running out of Lion colors at this point. I plan on skipping this release. Beautiful video, and love love love the comparison and the lower lighting/shade views. Those are suoer helpful (and fun!).
Elden Beast is very opaque but you’re right that the other two are not. The original Lion wasn’t super opaque like some of the siblings and cousins so I’m not super surprised to see BKL make them sheerer. I do personally prefer the more opaque ones though although the sheer cousins make great toppers!

Thank you for the comparisons, they’re so helpful!! I wish these were overall more opaque. I just hate doing 3 coats and still having nail line :/ buuuut I might pick up one or both or the magnetics anyway cause they’re so cool. Also love that GWP! It’ll be a great topper!

These polishes are so pretty, but I wish they were more opaque. My favorites are also FFS and Goddess of Rot(love that name). I love copper and burgundy polishes for fall, and these give me fall vibes as well.

I love the way BKL always gives colors that are out of the ordinary. All the weird color combinations end up being my favorites to wear. Definitely will be picking a few of these up. Love your swatch videos!

Well, I wound up ordering Goddess of Rot, FFS, and Elden Beast. I’ve been wearing the Bee’s Knees This Is Caelid, and I absolutely love it. I have to say that Bee’s Knees has some of the most unique, stunning nail polishes that are really eye catching. These will go nicely with my extensive nail polish collection.

This is not a collection for me and thats strange bc I do love different! lol Its like ever since they "came back" things are different and a LOT more expensive too. The LionC is my fav. and I just wish BKL would keep making them in all the tones and variations! BTW. your hair is the pretties!!!

Beautifully presented, to me they are polish avantgarde, defintely outside my wheelhouse when just seeing them in the bottle but once on the nail they are superb. I love to wear pruglies if they fit my undertones. My favs are the same 🤗

I was also surprised that FFS looked so similar to We’re All Cursed. My bottle of that one had a dusty rose base that I wasn’t a fan of and I destashed it 😅
My bottle of We’re All Cursed is also much rosier than how Rae’s appeared! Wonder if it’s just the lighting.
I agree! We’re all Cursed definitely leans more rosy and the base of FFS is definitely more of a reddish brown!

I know BKL has a big following but I didn’t really get this collection, and not just the theme. For me, the polishes were underwhelming even for fall season - IMO. BKL fans, don’t come at me 😊
