And to be clear I know I’m pronouncing Le Creuset wrong but my audience is predominately American and I wanted to be sure they could find it so pronounced the way it’s spelled. I took French for 4 years and I’m sure my teacher watches and is fuming.😂😂😂
As one of my favorite French teachers would have said…"You are hurting my French ears." 😂 But I get the need to meet the audience.
Le creuset does have factory sales in certain cities every now and then and can get products at a greatly reduced prices. Right before the great unpleasantness and I purchased a large braiser, large skillet, small skillet, grill pan and a couple of small kitchen items. I only spent $550 for everything and I use almost every piece multiple times a week! Best purchases I’ve made for my kitchen.
20+ Years ago my mother in law saved up lots and lots of saving stamps from our most famous coffee brewer Douwe Egberts.
She gave me a Moccamaster for my birthday and it’s still being used on a daily basis.
I need to try those sheets. We solve the sheet tugging problem by having independent top sheets. It has been one of the best decisions we've made in our relationship!
Loving this video. Completely reaffirmed my belief that spending more is actually wasting less. Took me a lot of years to learn that and I appreciate the reminder!! The buy buy buy force is strong (mostly stuff that one throws out in a year or two). The dog cameos, priceless. Rescue puppies are my happy place.
Yes this. Cheap things that wind up in landfills are not a good value but many of these things can actually be handed down and be in service for decades!
Great product reviews, Jen. However, watching your dog's in the background checking things out is precious 💞
They’re stinkers!😂❤️
@@JoyfulLivingwithJenLefforge 😆🐶💕
I had a le cruset for 15years. A few months ago it chipped and I did get it replaced under warranty. So worth the money.
I love to hear it!!
Love these types of videos, Jen. Thank you!
Jen, your product reviews are great. I don't need any of the items right now but it is helpful to be able to circle back to this video when the need arises. Thank you!
Love this video, and would love to see more product reviews 😊
Fantastic video Jen. I would love to have more videos like this one. Thank You for all your dedication to making your videos enjoyable and fun to watch. Nancy
Love Frette, will check these other two out - thanks Jen.
Thank you for the honest reviews. I am never sure if household goods are worth the extra prices.
Definitely have to try the sheets thanks for sharing ☺️
Love this, Jen! I bought an Away bag on your recommendation. Love it and agree completely with you! Sheets... I recently spent a chunk of change on a single fitted sheet. I'm trying to find a sheet that will withstand my hubby's sandpaper feet. He rubs his feet together when he sleeps, and he's worn literal holes in fitted sheets. So I bought a Rough Linen fitted sheet. It's getting softer with washing and it's holding up well, but it's been less than a year. Time will tell!
Yes, great video. I like knowing that you buy the things you are reviewing, true review are hard to come by these days. Love that the dogs are like mom's working, we will stay in the front until she is done.
Away luggage is great! I got my husband one because he travels so much for his job and it’s held up great!
This video makes me happy! I also adore our MoccaMaster!!! Highly recommend for the best cup of coffee. Also, my Le Creuset
Dutch oven is the best! Thank you for the reviews of these amazing products, and I don’t mind paying more if the product is a sure thing!
Totally agree 👍 you always get what you pay for👍💕 I have learned thus with time😏😊 Thanks for sharing 🤗
Yes please! More travel related items.
Yes loved this and bought my Away months ago on your link. Totally agree with le Cruset too…mine are displayed and not in a cabinet.
Love these kind of videos. Just got back from my first trip with my Away Bigger Carryon and it was so easy to use. Thanks for sharing!
You're welcome! Glad you found the bag as useful as I do!
Just found your channel - enjoyed very much. Appreciate honest reviews! Interested in fitness tracker review.
Appreciate these videos! Nothing specific to request, just things you think are good values.
I enjoyed this one Jen…great idea. I have wondered about the Le Creuset so this was very timely. Thanks!
You are so welcome!
Woohoo to the Moccoamaster! I'm glad you're loving it too.
Should have named you because it was a GREAT suggestion!
Great list, Jen! Our parents recently gave us their old robot vacuum (for the cat hair 😂) and it’s been a game changer for us. And glad we aren’t the old one who got rid of our Keurig. We started to realize who wasteful it was…not to mention how old the coffee actually was.
YES to Le Creuset Dutch ovens. They are worth every penny. I love mine and use it regularly.
It’s a splurge but so worth it!
I love these videos! What about the opposite idea? Things that you can save on/recycle/buy used or cheaply that last a long time? Just a thought.
Thank you for this. I have thought about buying most of these. I just haven’t splurged yet.
I bought that vacuum on your recommendation. We are in Germany so it was actually cheaper than other brands we knew. We have been very happy with it.
So happy to hear this!
I've heard SO many good things about Away suitcases and truly the ONLY reason why I haven't bought one yet is because I was lucky enough to receive a couple of wonderful Samsonite pieces from my old company as holiday gifts. BUT once those kick the bucket, it's Away all day!!
Would love a video about revamping or a new design/themed guest room. I know this is something you’re working on, but would love your tips. We’re about to be in a new house with a proper guest space. I want it to be neutral, cozy and feel like a space to rest - but I also can’t go crazy at Pottery Barn buying a whole new set. Thanks!
Love this Sara!!!
I love these kinds of videos! The last time you did a review on Boll and Branch, I promptly ran out (to my computer 😂😂) and purchased them. I actually have the exact same Le Creuset Dutch oven in the same color and LOVE it…especially for soups. More Jen reviews please!
Have you ever made bread in it? Theres loads of recipes online and it was super easy. Thanks for watching, Julie!
No! Hmmm..going to definitely check that out!
I also want to comment on the luggage…I know it has now become a thing to put luggage covers on your checked baggage to avoid it getting dirty under the plane. Don’t do this. My parents bought the away luggage in 2019. The wheels on their away luggage have been broken off during 4 different trips. Yes, away has fixed or replaced the wheels but it is still a pain in the butt when you arrive at SFO or MCO or ORD and pick up your luggage to discover that the wheel is broken and you now need to spend money renting a cart at the airport to transport your luggage. I’m convinced that the bag handlers pull the luggage out of the plane by pulling on the wheels because the handles are not quickly accessible due to the Lycra “condom” my mom puts on her luggage so it doesn’t get scuffed up. Bag handlers have literally just minutes to empty the hold of a plane before they move on to the next plane. Don’t deliberately slow down their work.
Yes I enjoyed!
I agree - My Boll and Branch sheets - LOVE (several sets!), Le Creuset - LOVE (several pieces and use on the regular), Moccamaster - LOVE, and while I have Monos luggage - I agree, good luggage is worth every penny. I will keep Sebo in mind. We have a central vac, but if it ever fails, will certainly look at Sebo.
Julie, truly, in my 30's I always had cheap luggage and it always ended up being thrown away!a
I have the Sebo canister. I love the canister for my needs… but unfortunately the handle part doesn’t go flat under my couches and beds… or if you put on couch or mattress to quickly clean, so I have to use the additional attachments. Still happy I bought because it hasn’t broken and I have 4 large dogs- and like you, I was going through vacuum cleaners more than 1 a year.
Thrift shops can be a great place to pick up Le Creuset if you're lucky - I've seen a few pieces in there. Was SO tempted as I know how fabulous they are, but sadly can't use them now because of the weight. I am in love with the Mickey collection though, lol.
My mom stopped using hers for the same reason. They are HEAVY for sure.
I love review videos. I would like a review of household cleaning products.
And yes I know I'm late to this party, but I love these videos!
If your can, buy the le cruset in Europe. It’s quite a bit cheaper. I’ve seen the one you have currently on sale. Original price is 290€ but on sale it went down to 210€.
Great reviews. ❤️😘
Thank you, Major!
I have that same le creuset, and I absolutely love it. It works so well, and the beauty of it and easy cleaning makes it even more of a joy to use. I would love to add a few other LC pieces over time.
In a follow up video, I’d love to know if you’re still using the palette by pak. I bought it on your recommendation, and it’s been so handy albeit occasionally hard to clean certain products from the wells.
Yes I’ve used it on every trip since I bought it!
My Sebo is about 30 years old and still working so, so well.
love to hear it!!!!
I totally understand why you say it's worth it to spend more on a good item but it's still an expensive item that I just can't get my arms around. How about some more product reviews on more affordable times? Love you !
This was a good video. I’m looking to finally invest in quality knives so if you love yours please do a review.
I have the le creuset Dutch oven, pan, and a couple couple of small colettes. I bout mine overseas. Le creuset is cheaper overseas
Love your reviews because I know they can be trusted.
Haha, love the last scene…okay, pause.
You’re the first person to notice it - Scott was filming for me 🤓😂❤️
Would you ever consider doing a video with recipes for the ale creuset that you make often?
I really don't do cooking videos very well. They're super challenging (much harder than it looks!) but I'll definitely consider it!
I am about to purchase new sheets and you must be a mind reader. I was wondering how you liked your Boll and Branch, so this was perfect timing! I’ll also check out the Dahlilah ones as well. Le Creuset…worth every penny. Next up, maybe a Sebo! I just have to let that price marinate for a little bit. Haha. As always, a great video!
Oh. And PS. My daughter and I both bought Away suitcases and love them.
Love that, Anne Marie! And yes you can't go wrong with either of those sheet brands. I'm thrilled with both.
I have wanted a Le Creuset for so long but as a person who hates to cook and doesn’t cook often I don’t need one and it would mainly be just for decor!
Although you might surprise yourself! We even bake bread in ours! (and I am NOT an adventurous cook just an everyday one)
The Le Creuset looks pretty, but I don’t have any idea how I’d use it a lot except for making chili/soup…then again, I’m not a motivated cook 😀
Took me a while to realise what cookware brand you were referring to. We pronounce it (in the UK) le Croo-zay lol
The French pronunciation is correct but I pronounced it the way it’s spelled so easier for people to find. You’re not wrong!
Both sheet sets are “cool” - correct? What kind of mattress pad do you use? I think that’s what is causing our bed to be hot.
I have a video request. (Not sure how to politely ask this... A video idea... I don't know. You said you use your Le Cruset video daily, would you share what you cook in it...
Have you ever had a problem with the bigger away carry on not fitting in the overhead bin? Wondering about smaller airlines/planes.
A lot of regional airlines can't fit roller bags at all. But on a wide body, no, I've never had any trouble.
Are there any types of flights you cannot bring the bigger carry on?
I only fly Delta and haven't found one but if you were flying on a smaller regional carrier it's possible. Always check the information for the flight you're taking.
In the vein of sheets...do you happen to have a mattress recommendation?
I just bought a brand new Casper from Costco so I'll bring an update on that soon!
Le Creuset is made in China now. They are no longer the same quality. I have old ones that are more than twenty years old and they are still great because they were made in France. Wait until sales of Staub cookware. As expensive. Better quality
Me, looking up the sebo expecting to see Miele prices…$599 is not that bad for a premium vacuum! I have dyson vacs and I love them, but I think the lesson here is that good vacuums ain’t cheap.
This exact thing. Especially ones that can be fixed and aren’t just plastic
