I've been cutting my own hair since 2009. I really like the razor side because it doesn't look layered which is the way I wear the back of mine. I have also gotten interested in wigs the past several months! I've been trimming those. My razor comb came in the mail last week. Glad I found your video before diving in!! Thanks!
I just wanna tell u ur amazing, I just did the razor side to my whole head and I feel like a completely different person. All my life I've struggled with thick hair that no one seemed to know how to cut, so I started cutting my own because it never turned out right. I recently gave myself a lob and I had forgotten how thick it felt after getting one in the past, so I knew I had to do something cause it was unbearable. Doing this to my hair gave me the hair I've always fantasized over having to say the least. No joke, thank u for this video and ur teaching skills. I'll always remember u, thank u ❤️
Forgot to say I have fine hair, but so much of it if anyone's wondering so it can work for them too. Just gets the balls and do it, I don't regret it
Love both your techniques. You are great man!
This is awesome! Thank you!
This was awesome! Thank you!
Awesome, I definitely gonna use both techs on my clients' hair. Thank you. God bless you 👍❤️
I like the scissors side the best because it has more volume. I need volume. They both look about the same though.
beautiful!!! I've been told if razors are sharp that they aren't that destructive to the hair but long term wear and tear, I find that hard to believe the way they shred down the shaft. the scissor motion seems a much better option for hair health and I like the effect better. thanks for another great video.
Absolutely beautiful, seemless volume & texture! Love it!
Thank you!
Beautiful art
Amazing

Thanks so much David!
Thank you again for posting this video!👍 The texturizing technique seems to be very effective but yet not to difficult to do.
What's the professional term for the shear slicing techniques you've shown (with scissor and razor) in this video? I wish you a nice week:)🙋♀️

Jake, will you do a “thrash” razor cut all over with volume and very edgy. Just on the fly that would look great on a woman with the same hair color but really thick and straight hair.
