People don’t realize but Demariyus Thomas RIP used to sing the national anthem with Demarcus next to him on the sideline when they were on the broncos… this meant a lot more to Demarcus than we all think

I figured there was a reason behind him wanting to perform, that's great to know. His rendition was, uhh, not very great, but the context and reason behind it, very meaningful.
He did fine. He sang with dignity and respect. The song means a lot to him and I’m glad he got to do this.

DeMarcus Ware was a beast in the NFL I didn't like the Cowboys but he played good for them. He won a championship with the Broncos now he made the hall of fame.

That was great! Just the courage to get out there is inspiring. I am relatively new to the world of singing, but I think it's obvious to any vocal teacher that he has a lot more potential to display.
I imagine with his frame, he hasn't even tapped into his full resonance. God bless him for sharing his voice. I am sure a lot of kids are watching and being inspired.

They should do that more often. He wasn't Great or bad. He just sung it the way it is should be. I hate it when artists sing it and add runs to make it their own. It isn't their own. It is OUR anthem. All that could've been better is his voice could have been louder so stronger. I know he had to have had some nerves because that is very different than sacking the QB.
You can watch this video at 1x, 1.5x, and 2x speed and get 3 very different but enjoyable renditions. Sung with so much heart and finished with a bang, plus that piano player was amazing.
