awesome video - I'd always envisioned Ashdown HQ as *much* bigger. I have a MAG 300 "Made in England" on the back of it. Whilst I don't have Ashdown cabinets I do run it through a 2x10 and a 1x15. I also have an Ashdown Tonepocket which I just love as that big rig is a little much for home :)
Great vlog tour of my favorite bass amplifiers! I'm a beginner to intermediate player crossing over from guitar. My first bass amp is my Studio 8, that happened to be on sale. I was hooked right from the beginning. I now also have a AAA Five 15 FF125, which is covering my needs for now. I would love to eventually get any of the CTM or LB models, or even ABMs.
Awesome!! Ashdown is my favourite for bass amps. I own a 100 watt combo, and one day dream to own a massive cab and little bastard amp when I can afford one. I absolutely love how homely the ashdown workspace seems, such an awesome group
I had an Ashdown Klystron rig for years, right up till my playing days ending. What a killer rig that was!! Great sound, reliable, and!!!!!! The cabs were really lightweight! Neo drivers. 👍👍👍👍 If you want reliability. Ashdown for me!
Looks like an amazing place, reminds me a bit of Laney when it was in Cradley Heath, I had a friend who worked there, he sorted me a really nice LC15R out for guitar practice! Looks like me taking a look at one of their amps for my Bass!
I have a 1000w Ashdown head that i paid £25 for off a friend haven't tried it yet in need of a cab. But it used to get used live gigging. Its a heavy beast you wouldn't want to drop it on your toes.
Great video, had no idea ashdown was quite that compact!!! Love ashdown and am thinking of dipping my toe back into there gear again. Would love the chance as I’ve said on Insta to have a little visit!!
Our bass player has run his Orange 200 watt valve amp through a 4 x 10 Ashdown cab for years now. It's a very nice piece of kit. He also has an Ampeg 1 x 15 cab, but that pretty much only see use when he does orchestra pit type gigs for theatre productions. The Ashdown handles the rock stuff perfectly fine on its own.
I'd love for them to release a small home practice combo, say 50W or so, and have the dial prominent still. Got no need for many hundreds of bowel loosening watts myself
Until I tried one, the studio 12, this morning, at my friend's house who never mentioned he had one. For a month. Holy hell this is going on my Xmas list with the wife. Ashdown #1 Probably too loud for the house , will see what falls off shelves 🤷
Interesting - I owned a giggable Ashdown combo a while back and the only downside was the weight - sounded great. If I get fed up with my Rumble, I'll give Ashdown another look.

You'd think an intimate company like this would take the time to reply to people who show interest in their products, especially in markets they are having a difficult time getting a foot hold. They haven't responded to my questions about their products in Canada, where their retailer is apathetic about Ashdown products and disinclined to even talk about them, let alone promote them.

I've always loved the tone I get from Ashdown equipment. I only swapped to a Genzler/Barefaced because of weight and convenience.

Have you checked out the Studio range? I did a demo of the Studio-8 which is the smallest one

My mistake, it was an ampeg 1x12 that he wants to exchange for the Ashdown. I was close...
