This song completed the "Dark Side of the Moon" played in its entirety during the concert, then the lights went out and they came back for their Encore and played "Wish You Were Here", "Comfortably Numb" and finished it off with "Run Like Hell"!!

I was fortunate to have seen this performed live , Wembley Stadium , London , 1989, the final track Run like Hell is in the Guinness book of records, incredible !

Yeh, this was the final song of their "Dark Side of the Moon" set. They then finished the concert with Wish you Were Here, Comfortably Numb and Run Like Hell.

Thank you to reacting to more from the amazing Pulse concert! To your comment about never noticing how Gilmour and Wright harmonizing together, I suggest checking out the live performance they did of 'Echoes' from 2006. It's from a David Gilmour solo show and it's the last time that Richard Wright performed 'Echoes' with him. It's an amazing showcase for both of them and really demonstrates that Pink Floyd "sound". Richard Wright passed away two years later, in 2008. After he died, David Gilmour said he would never play 'Echoes' live again, because he felt that the song was a musical conversation between himself and Richard. Here is the link to that performance if you ever want to check it out: czcams.com/video/zrProK5R7ms/video.html

This Pulse concert reminds me of my father, who bought me the VHS in 1995 when I was about 14, we would take turns drumming to each song on our drum kit with the music turned all the way up, I was amazed by the lazors, lights and the big round ring ( signature Pink floyd) But didnt really feel the vibe until my 30s. Give it another 15 years and your son will understand Pink floyd alot more.

On the album these songs just flow into each other, it sounds like it's one song they flow seemlessly into each other.

Well done guys. Perfect. Roger Waters, and by extension, Pink Floyd has always been fiercely anti-war. Dad got it right... the word lunatic is being applied here to world leaders of the era who's failure to get along put so many young lives at risk. At the end of Dark Side they come back with "Comfortably Numb" and end it with "Run Like Hell". If you'll recall 'Run like Hell' emloyed quite a bit of fireworks which was even more spectacular when it was performed outdoors. I saw them at Soldier Field in Chicago and the fireworks went high into the night sky and lit up the lakefront .
Check out the live performance of "Wish You Were Here" from this same concert.
"The paper holds their folded faces to the floor, and every day the paperboy brings more" - Roger Waters, Brain Damaged

They had songs on Billboard's Top 100 for over 30 years. There are multiple generations that are huge fans. You're likely to see the same 20 songs listed many times, because they are the truly seminal Floyd tunes.

Sadly never got to see PF but I did see a solo David Gilmour gig which was cool. He brought on Roy Harper which was very cool. Early 80s.

    Hi Again Guys...
    Love your Pink Floyd Reactions...
There's a detail I want to point out... And it looks that no many people notices it or take it into account...
Check the Second Keyboard guy... His Name is Jon Carrin... And he has Played For Both Pink Floyd (After Roger Waters) and for Roger Waters (After Pink Floyd) he has toured with both since the 80's... I was in the Roger Waters THIS IS NOT A DRILL tour in 2023 and he was playing in it... I think that's something to highlight...
You can see him in the DELICATE SOUND OF THUNDER TOUR (PF) IN THE FLESH (RW) PULSE (PF) THE WALL TOUR(RW) US AND THEM TOUR (RW) THIS IS NOT A DRILL (RW) etc
    He is that good!!!

The 2 songs run together both on the album and live. DSOTM has no breaks between tracks, except between The Great Gig in the Sky and Money, which is only there so you can turn the album over. 😉

Hey Gentlemen. I just recently found your channel. I love that you are reacting to the Symphony as well as other genres. I subscribed. YEA. I was hoping to see y'all do 2 Cellos. They will blow your mind. My favorite band is Iron Maiden. Would also like to see that.

So many world leaders shown as lunatics, but it was pretty clear that today the video works better for us older guys, who remember them all. Anyone not from the 1980s or earlier would probably only recognize a few of them at most. But everyone in the crowd that day would certainly have known them all.

Neil Peart would not have fit. The cover of Floyds "High Hopes" by Nightwish is a great example from Jukka is a great look at what Floyd would be like with a modern technical drummer. Check it out, Im 73 and I was blown away.
