Gracias Lau,,, SALUDOS =)
Thanks for the time stamp! I wish someone would time stamp the guitar solos!!! Guitarist is spot on and able to add his own style to icon leads.
Amazing show worthy of a DVD release
BigTiny Manowarrior73 the only thing missing is the usual final song Tooth & Nail. Amazing sound!
2018 and no sign of Almost Over or Empire? I would much rather had those on the setlist than It's Not Love and All Right Now. What is with these bands doing covers when they have such a deep catalog of their own music? Thanks for Maddest Hatter.
Don doesn't have the range he once did, but for 60-something he sounds pretty damn good to me. You go Don - I greatly admire you for keeping on doing what you love most.
I'm grateful that Don Dokken is still doing what he enjoys. His voice has definitely changed but he's still kicking ass. Pretty tight sounding! Rockin' with Dokken forever!! 🤘🤘
then.. dont close your eyes...
Omar Villarreal Don rules 🤘🏽
Amen to that brother🤘
Rock out forever forever 🤘🍻
I will always love Don and the boys ! He may sound different but he is still rockin it !
they did an excellent job.... The guitarist John Levin is amazing , the bassist had a really cool solo.... Wild Mick on the drums is spot on.... and Don sang well even though in a lower register............ good jams
Some of that crowd should remember Jon from Doro's Force Majeure album.
Jon Levin did a really great job. Great tone as well.
Mick was on fire.
Don rocks! His voice is not the same but his heart is bigger than ever!
The best bass sound ever
Hell yeah!!!
Mick Brown RULES the stage!!!
Yeah he's always been one of my favorite drummers, what's crazy is now Don got George back and Mick andJ eff left what the hell?!
I my god I love Dokken! They were my soundtrack in the 80's. They rocked this concert.
No they didn't
@@Marchosias_Rex Ohhh yes they did...!!
I love Dokken. Don was great singer, but he had cancer. God bless you Don and Wild Mick too.
Is that true about the cancer? Don exaggerates so much it's hard to tell.
Craig, his voice's been shot long before that commercial. If I believe what I'd read, at one point Jeff had asked to be the lead singer, but Don refused, which led to Jeff quitting. I remember seeing them in Seattle with Great White in '99 or 2000, when Reb was on guitar, and Don's voice was shot then. His best stage move was air drumming to Mick's playing. It was weird. To his credit, however, he's a good songwriter. He's written some good songs over the years. He just can't sing them properly. But...that comes with aging. No one is unaffected by time.
When did Don have cancer? He had a pinched nerve in his neck that was operated on a few months back but nothing about cancer.
@Craig Willis found someone about nodes on vocal chords in 2010 and something about Cervical surgery last November but no cancer though. Odd, you'd think something like that would be eat to find.
Shit! I didn’t know he got sick.
Great show. The bass is agressive, great guitar, Don sing no more, but deserves respect for the courage. 🇧🇷
I like it u can actually hear the bass.
J B Don sings pretty ok, not like in his prime. Let’s give him credit.
Don What? Don Dokken makes me feel gooseumps just to hear him, you must feel the essence.. its wonderful
hate the bass too much treble
@@joelewishenry7886 bullshit. I'm not giving him any credit. If I had paid money for that lame performance I would have been pissed.
Many days cruising in the Z28 T tops out burning one jamming to Dokken, I miss the 80s
Camaro ? Yeah ! 🇺🇸😊
As times goes on,we all get older & our bodies are not 25 yr anymore , Don has cancer from what l heard at least he trying. And doing what he love, Give him credit. I lost my other half to cancer.. don’t wish that on anyone. God Bless you Don & Dokken.. 🤟🏻🤘🏻
Having just gone through chemotherapy and radiation, know what a hell it is
GBU all...
@@georgelucas6550 hope you are well God loves you deeply Shalom ✝️🤗🐼❤️🌹💐 Philippians 4:8.just lost my Mom
I'm really sorry to hear that, Joey. Condolences.
Just Don putting it all back together (the band) and getting up there (on stage) is a testament to his will power and commitment to this. I'm far from the biggest Dokken fan (was a teenager in the 80s but prefer 70s and 90s rock/metal), but I'm a BIG believer in will power and determination overcoming physical and/or mental exhaustion or sickness and getting it done no matter what. Kudos to Don and Mick for continuing to make it happen. Don was/is one of the best rock and roll singers that's ever existed imo.
They sound tight! John Levin is a beast. Always sounds better when DON plays rhythm guitar. George did a ton of overdubs/rhythm tracks on those records......
Yeah i jist wish they could all get along now they got George back and Mick and Jeff left what the hell!?
Great to see Mick Brown on drums. He has a great feel for the songs ( cuz he's OG) and a kick ass presence!
Mick looks great for his age. He fared alot better than Don, which is surprising. Of the bunch I always thought Mick was gonna die an early death as hard as he partied in the 80's.
Mick is the man
Band sounds great. Don has singin in a lower register figured out. That guitarist is a freaking beast.
I've been rockin with dokken for over 40 years I think his voice is great consider the number of shows that man has sung so he can't bust a water glass anymore I'll die a dokken fan rock on Don
Ya brother! Dokken is a great American band that has lasted.
We love you DON DOKKEN! Those first few Dokken 'albums' back in the day were MASTERCLASS!
Don Dokken makes me feel gooseumps just to hear him, you must feel the essence.. its wonderful
Of all the band's from back in the day Dokken has been one of my all time favorites.Much respect Don for surviving and rocking on
Dokken has so many great songs, its unreal! Great setlist, and still missing Tooth n nail, Heaven sent, When heaven comes down, Just got Lucky, Burning like a flame and so many others... one of the best metal bands ever
Dokken always kicks ass...Shame we gotta get old. We all do if we're Lucky...
You just got lucky! :D
I hear ya brotha! Rock on! \m/\m/
Jon Levin is an amazing guitar player.
Jhon Levin is a such great guitarrist. He and that galoping bass are vey powerful... great performance. Bang your head!
yes brother nice comment >!!!
Agree 100%...!
Respect for The Don!
🤘😪🍻
Best Dokken song.....Too High To Fly..
If you're not familiar....familiarize!!!
Man that album is sooooo underrated
Crash n Buuuuuuuuuuurn....!!!!
My favorite Dokken song
You got that right.
I'm very glad, Don is a survivor, but his voice is completely gone, very sad...
It's not gone, it's just lower. If I were him I'd've probably started singing everything an octave lower a long time ago. (Because that's what I'm doing.)
Rodney Dangerfield on the drums.
C'mon....Mick brown gets no respect, no respect I tell ya lmao
pissed myself laughing...
Hahahahaha
Finally another pro shot dokken show! I wish they would do more from lightning strikes again!
Agreed! That album is way underrated. One of their best!!
Rocking with Dokken
That dude played some badass guitar and Don has my respect he made a lot of fantastic songs
Hello Dave. I'm Dave also. These guys are actually friends of my family now. My son, who is 17 and a full on 80's guitar shredder, fell in love with them and their music a few years ago and it's been Dokken full throttle since then. We've seen them live so many times over the past 3 years and have hung out with them quite a bit at the shows and elsewhere. My son actually bought a Charvel Custom Shop guitar, that has been used in concert, from their current and long time guitarist Jon Levin on Valentine's Day in 2019. Anyhow, my point is that they are very accessible to the fans as a band. All of them are very fun and gracious off stage. Check out Don Dokken's solo album from the early 90s called Up From the Ashes if you haven't heard it yet. It's one of my favorite albums of all time and if you haven't heard it you will fall in love with it immediately. It is ridiculously underrated and unpromoted. It just came out at a bad time when the music industry was changing. I've talked to Don about it and he said it's kind of a waste of an album but his true fans know it, love it and cherish it. The lineup of musicians for that album after Dokken broke up it is absolutely TOP NOTCH and it seriously comes through on that album. I can't Rave about it enough, just check it out if you haven't heard it. Also, check out some of my son's videos playing some Dokken's stuff in part on my channel.
NEVER have I heard "Don't Close Your Eyes" live! One of my all-time fav cuts off Tooth And Nail! Great to hear it!
Don't Close Your Eyes and Into the Fire are my favorite songs from Tooth and Nail. I did see Dokken play them live on that tour when they opened for Krokus.
Agreed, but the sound cuts many times during it...
I really like John's guitar work, and the Mick's drumming at this show. For us long-time Don Dokken fans.....it's hard to watch Don enduring the 'marathon' through the songs, and not be able to hit those high notes we all have memorized. I get it, something is better than nothing.
Don actually did pretty good here, I mean a lot of it's in a lower register but at least he's a key, and Mck was on fire.
Love this band!
I like Wacken concerts, they sound great. I also like the Saxon concerts.
Dokken’s music is classic Rock and Roll and despite age still sounds damn good!!! Glad they are still around to share it wit us older fans!!!
One of the greatest guitarist I've ever seen........................
I'm thankful the cornavirus hasn't killed me yet, and I'm also thankful for the bass player here, his back up vocals were very much needed.
jakarta 600 infected right now... stay safe.... btw where are you come from? dokken 4ever !!!
Chris MaCarvel from CT.
well since survival rates are 10 x higher than deaths it probably wont kill you
@@chriszaa2309 just trying hard not to be infected and keep listen rock n roll...it is very important
So Rowen170 did covid kill you, just wondering?
Damn it man, that guitarist is a BEAST!!! It's almost like George but younger. They sound amazing!
Not younger by much. John Levin was the lead guitarist for Warlock/Doro back in the 80s. He's 53.
Lynch would blow him off the stage
@@richardjoslin2260 I am a diehard Lynch fan and have been most of my life, and although I understand that noone wants to deal with drama, I hated that he couldn't remain in Dokken. I never thought any of his replacements could quite measure up. Reb Beach is a PHENOMINAL guitarist by any other standard, but with Dokken? No. George has this style....the way he bends his notes and little subtle things he does that I have never seen anyone else be able to do, until this guy. I'll admit, he's not George, but he's the closest I have ever seen Don find.
They sound tight. That bass player is killin' the backing vocals.
nice job on lead THE HUNTER job Levin staying true to Georges!!!!!!!!! that's RESPECT
Close your eyes and you can't tell if it's Jon or George....
Awsome, I just saw you guys in Denver sometime last year (2019)
Many thanks for putting this on, love Dokken. I believe that Don's struggling after some serious spine surgery, here's to a quick and healthy recovery 🙂👍
That is a shell of what Dokken was. Go look up 1986 to 1991 Dokken. Blows the shell away.
Great great concert wow, Jon Levin is a beast
God bless you Dokken... You rock! You are the spirit, even the body and the voice cannot reach the 80's, your soul can do it
Nothing better to watch Dokken live. Dokken will always be one of my favorite metal bands. I still remember when they used to open up for the Scorpions.
Don Dokken has divinity shinning in his voice, touching your spirit. Just a few people can feel that, a lot are just superficial humans. If you go beyond, you could realize the power and feeling that Don send to the Universe, its wonderful.
Great concert and sound quality. Thanks for posting. What a band. Love Dokken.
Don sounds great!
I saw Dokken in Greece 3-4 years ago.
Same voice!
It's not a matter of age.
The man's voice has something to do with illness!
Anyway...the Greeks saw them for the first time and we got wild.
Voice at the 20% of the original 80's D.D. voice but ........please pay some respect.
This is a great band.
Have you ever seen them???
Dokken, one of the best bands ever in my book 🤘🏽. Thanks to them the 80's were the best. Don still kicking 🦵 ass 🤛🏽👊🏽

Malista!!! I have seen Dokken a few times and enjoyed them all. I agree Don Dokken's voice is of illness not age. I know that he had cancer years ago and of course most recently the spine surgery that actually made him worse than before which sucks. I give him a lot of credit for still trying and not giving up.
DOKKEN FOREVER !!!🤟😎
It is so good to see you again, Don and the Crew. Highest respect ... even you have cancer you sang with heart and soul. A little more silent than the years before ... but you gave all to it. Don, and your voice is still amazing recognisable :-) Thanks for this great show. Many many hearts to all of you !
Just love this band!! ❤️🤘🏻
Still listening to this and enjoying the hell out of it!
God bless all the great bands of yesterday..when they are gone it's over.....rock n roll 4ever
Lightning did indeed strike Dokken again by finding another guitar god in Jonny Levin. What. A. Beast.
Bass player was awesome too.
Thankyou. The new members sound great
Sound quality is so good. Thanks 4 this dude.
Great bass and guitar finds!
Great show I will always be a fan of Dokken n band.

What Lynch hasn't lost anything? KXM, I do love this as well
Lynch hasn’t lost shit.
Thanks so much!!!! Awesome....
Guitar and bass tones killing!
Awesome pounding bass sound!
Long live Dokken, great band, and Mr. Don Dokken deserves respect for the great Effort....
my guitar teacher jon Levin!
Never seen him before. He’s pretty amazing.
@joe winkler yep! He was my guitar teacher! When i was in la
@Ronald King yes he was!!
@@readmore4178 he was german metal band doro guitarist
Great show. !
There's something truly unique about the music that was written in that era compared to what's around now.
I can't agree anymore
Excellent!!
Awesome band, Forever Dokken 🇺🇸🎸💥
Enjoyed that! Everyone played great!
I still think don had one of the best metal voices in rock.. They are still good.
Dokken Rocks!!!
I remember dokken then , I watch this now, I fookin stayed for the whole show, loved it! Fuck I'm old!!
Great band really coolest songs fun and vibes
Jon Levin has the fire!!!
Respect for the Don getting through this show....bless you and stay well
Levin é foooda! Don é guerreiro, não se deixa vencer pelas limitações de sua desgastada voz.
Un guerrero fuerte aunque ya no alcance las altas sigue como lo haría cualquier guerrero 🤘🍻😎
Sound great
Nossa véi sou fanzaço, Adoro essa banda👏🏼🤘🤘🤘🇧🇷
Hey Dokken, nice job. This right here is one of the originators of the LA Metal scene, much respect! 🤘🤘
DOKKENデビュー当時から聴いてるから頑張ってほしいな
もうドンの高音が出なくなってるね(;゚Д゚)
Always have loved Dokken. One of favorites in the 80's. Don is really trying hard but... plus miss Jeff and George. But hey , things change, people get older. I'll still always love and respect them
Don has definitely found a way to make it work. Mick is amazing on the drums.
Ta fantastico esse show, don dokken sempre foi o melhor em escolher guitarristas
Loved hearing "Maddest Hatter" ...Erase the Slate with Reb Beach on guitar is far best the best album Dokken ever produced!
dlmvh5150 - easily
Awesome!
The drums are spot on
Old Dokken is the best Dokken.
I used to listen to all my favorite dokken tunes on my favorite radio station.. 105.5 KNAC🤘💀🤘 BEAUTIFUL FLASH BACKS ..
Don is half the singer he once was but age can not touch the magic this band made you have your place solidified in the halls of Rock n roll forever
Excellent !!! 😎
Dokken in Wackem its new for me..great!!
Don sounds good here
Maybe one of the last gigs Don sounded OK. Jon Levin is just phenomenal and a great guy all around. Surprised to hear so much from Chris. Very nice background vocals a l' Pilson! Tight band for sure... Jon Levin deserves a lot of credit for carrying the band throughout many years now... The best rendition of Too high to fly must be are Beach's version...check it out!
The old and good Dokken!
Sounds good 👍
They should put this out on Bluray 🤩
5:19 Prophetic!
YES, I SAW TOO, MAY BE THEY KNEW ABOUT THE CORONAVIRUS COMMING SOON.
