This is the band that got me into metal. Way back in elementary school with "Stay Hungry". Respect!
Yeah man,I remember them when I was about 12, in the mid 80's. Great times
I was at this show. I was just 18 years old and it was my first festival. And even if i get a hundred years old, i will remember this night and have a big smile on my face.
Man the 80's were awesome love twisted sister. Dee still kicks arse. Rip AJ PERO we all miss you
You must be a country boy because city boys don't ever say arse, hahaha,Rock out and roll on ,wooooh!
If twisted reunited again it could save the world!
None of the other band members could keep up with Dee any more.
Hard without A.J....
@@AnnWahlquistyes, but I really think he would've improved. Tommy Aldridge actually could fit them perfectly.
First went to see these guys at the sheffield students union in 82 , I was 17 , blew me away ! Still a great band !
🔈
Man reading this comment makes me wish I were older...and also that I had had the chance to see them back then...
The Tube t.v show, followed by Sunderland Locarno straight after. Still have the bootleg.
All my favourite bands are from 10-20 years before I was born. I wasn't born in the wrong generation because ebay makes it so easy to get albums but I do wish I could have seen these bands in their prime.
Absolutely a contender for best front man in metal. He goes for it every time, has a killer metal voice, is funny as hell and is intelligent. TFS
he is very good.
my favorite is Ian Anderson of jethro tull.
Lemmy is God.
Sincerely.
MHB #1204
And the physique of a demigod.
Mussh Wins you’re saying good things.
I think Bruce Dickinson deserve the number 1 spot.
"What you don't know (sure can hurt you)" is the best concert opener.

I'm stoked they still sounded this good live and did it after so many years not playing! Absolutely amazing band!! 🤘🤘
Dee is a top front man, It's such a shame the drummer passed away, Twisted sister would still be rocking Waken these days otherwise
Kept me going through some very dark and challenging times. You’ll never know how much you helped me.
I grew up on Long Island where these guys are from. Summer of 78 , every Thursday night they played a club 15 minutes from my home. Never missed a Twisted show.
There is nothing better than watching Mark Mendoza play, The fire still burns.
Dee's pipes are still sounding great!
Absolute 1000% energy.
Banda excelente! Talvez uma das mais menosprezada dos anos 1980. Descanse em paz A.J. Pero!😢 Thanx for your music!
Saw TS for the first time 1978. Still listening during covid.
Thanks guys for keep playing,❤️
RIP A.J. PERO
That Snare
Twisted Sister is the worlds best heavy metal bands in USA & the worlds.
Love the interview stuff!! Great retrospective!!!
Saw Twisted Sister open for Iron Maiden. Dee was on fire and pissed off and went off on the one guy not rockin out. Love the energy he brings to the table on stage!!!! TS Rocks!!!
Thanks guys!
Miss you guys so much, been a fan since 78, seen TS at Zaffys, Royal Manor, Emmits Inn, Fountain Casino, man I miss those days, TS was the loudest band out there, and I couldn't get enough so I took my kids to see them about 4 years ago at Starland Ballroom in NJ before AJ passed. What a great night that was.
FRICKEN AWESOME!!! THANKS FOR POSTING THIS!!
Saw this tour live. Was outstanding, one of the best concerts I've ever seen!
Yes sir, N.H pavillion With Skid Row, Skid Row's singer's wife went into labor so T.S played a double set 3rd row center.. Incredible
Take away the controversy, the immage and the hype, this band could still really rock live.
\m/ \m/
This was ridiculously awesome on many levels.
This is absolutely Amazing, this concert-documentary is really inspiring. It reminds me what I have to do with my own carieer. Thank you Twisted Fuckin' Sister!!
The first 3 lp's are classics ... SMF 4 life!
Their heavy rock'n'roll is the world's best! Thanks you Twisted Sister for that!
Saw Twisted Sister during the Stay Hungry tour. Y&T and Rex Havoc opened for them at the convention center in Las Vegas. It was my second concert I’ve been to at that point. Still one of my top five concerts. The guys definitely put on a great show!!!!!! RIP A.J.....
I was very blessed to have the honor and privilege to see them in concert twice in Charlotte North Carolina, meeting Dee and the rest of twisted sister the 2nd time I went was even better, oh and I sat next to David Flair which is Ric Flairs son this was right before WCW closed their doors
Love Twisted Sister, has done since i was 7 back in 1984
Thank you so much for this upload! You truly made my day!
Twisted Sister were anthem machines.
Very impressed twisted sister does great still. Alot of 80s bands aren't able to capture their old sounds. Good job Dee!!!
I think Dee has lived a mostly clean life. Used to get his morning show a while back on fm radio
@@millertimedroid VERY clean.
Dee still has an incredible voice. Have you seen the version of "We're not gonna take it" for the Criss Angel foundation for pediatric cancer awareness? Iry_QLgThtU
This was a nice surprise to see pop up today. Very cool. I'm glad it's not just a straight up concert and it has all this other historical commentary intersliced in.
I didn't know TS ever played for the USO. That is awesome.
These guys are the ones who got me into metal waaaay back in the day!
I got the album in 2006, maybe 2007 and I heard it a lot, but it's first time that I watch the concert.. thanks for this upload TS
Твистед Систер самые крутые! Ди Снайдер лучший!
Согласна
Ну не самь|е круть|е , но круть|е .
After over 40 years shoot ‘em down is one of my favorite songs. I’m now 52 learning guitar and this song lol
This band´s energy live has always been off the charts !
I saw them in 2016 on their Final Tour at a small Open Air in Germany called Bang your Head... And this was program for TS...🤘👍 The great Mike Portnoy was on drums.....🥢🪘👍
This was fun. Thanks for the rock and roll you SMF's! Stay twisted!
So fucking great to see the original lineup all in complete costume! Fuck yeah
TS 4 ever, thank you, Finland loves you!!! What a show, what a band!
I saw Twisted Sister with Iron Maiden was the best concert ever
My 2 favourite bands along with dio
Same here, 1984 world slavery tour
@@WCSkills 1985 when maiden came to Australia I was 16 and seen them in Newcastle
Saw that show in San Diego! Was there for TS bought an Iron Maiden CD beforehand just to know what to expect.
Yep... Powerslave tour. AND I was high on acid.... Magical concert.
Minha banda favorita de todos os tempos! \m/ RIP A.J Pero
Greetings from Brazil!
I saw them at K-days in Edmonton….so good it was scary. All original members. I’ll never forget it. ❤️
Wow!!! Mark is a mad man on the bass. I feel bad I've never noticed it before but then again, I've never seen TS live. Props you Animal 🤘. This show kicks ass !! Long live the SMF'S
Saw TS three times at Newcastle Mayfair (UK) in the 80s, fantastic band, Dee brilliant frontman. Mark here at 1.59, fucking epic 🤘
What a complete masterpiece of a CZcams video this is! :D :D
One of best metal bands EVER...
Love Twisted Sister! Saw them at Birmingham Odeon In 1986 - what a show!
Been listening to TS since the first album.
They sound absolutely fucking amazing with backing tracks. Saw Mark Mendoza raise his hands yet he’s still playing the bass.
Anybody else see that?
I was a HUGE fan of Twisted Sister and Quiet Riot back in the 80s! Even though Twisted Sister's make-up and costumes looked "glam", they had an edge to them. Parents and teachers would freak out about them, but the kids who grew up with Marilyn Manson, Slipknot, lamb of god, Cradle Of Filth, Children Of Bodun, Ghost, etc wouldn't bat at an eye at Twisted Sister. After all these years, I'm 51 years old, a proud father of 2 boys, and a diehard SMF!
Dee Snider
the best.
I saw TS in 1985 open for Iron Maiden at Long Beach Arena 2 nights in a row! AMAZING SHOW!
I love this band so much....
I'm glad they posted this video since they ALMOST NEVER PLAYED THE US
What a great rock metal concert ! 👍🏼🚀🌍✌🏻🌸
Dee still kills it!
What a ripper! Excellent show!
Wow. So glad to have found this. These guys ripped.
Hell yea I love this!!!
Boozed all day ...great show ..party'til morning !
I love that it’s both concert and documentary
They were so tight here. Total zenith of their power.
Bad Boys (Of Rock 'N' Roll)!! !
@@mrcubitcho4586 Disse tudo, meu Brother!!!
Twister Sister 🤘🏽🔥que Banda mas poderosa
Es lo mejor del mundo, sin duda ellos daban el alma en cada show. 🤘🎃🇲🇽
Twisted Sister was the band that made me want to be a bass player. Watching their videos as a kid on MTV I was always fascinated by the sound of the basslines. At the time I had no idea where that was coming from until my metalhead uncle explained to me the difference between guitar and bass and that was it. Then Steve Harris and Cliff Burton made me even more passionate about the instrument, but for me it all started with Mark "The Animal" Mendoza!
Agree with you, Mann. His bass always pounds and something that punches you straight. Also the way when he fucking plays live, man. They sound more heavier. Animal fucking owns..
i had the privilege to see twisted sister live in my city (la paz, bolivia) on december 2010 !!!! 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼
I am astonished that I did not really got into TS in the eighties. I have seen quite a lot of hard rock and heavy metal concerts but I did not pay attention to TS. But now, 40 years later I see this concerts on You Tube and I really appreciate so much the energy from the whole band but especially Dee Snider. He is really a front man and can gives so many positive vibrations. Incredible and amazing
Man I love this band :)
My six year old plays we're not gona take it in a loop LOL I bought her a twisted sister poster for her - in between her river city girls, my little pony and monster high ... there it is lol a twisted sister poster in her room LOL. now kids have a phons and tablets they don't wait for adults to pick what they like on youtube lol.
Does he want to dress up like a really REALLY ugly girl too?
@@69zenos1 She. She is 6, why are you hating on a 6 year old little girl? oh wait .. conservative right? Don't you people have anything else to do? Republicans seems to be always have free time to hate. Just like their leader donald, insults and hatred. Why don't you people just find something productive to do.
About your so called morals, keeping kids in cages and cheating on your wife with porn stars .. yeah so righteous.
Dee is still with his wife - your hero donald had 3 failed marries.
Jessica Winslet Great reply! Beats me why someone who does'nt understand rock and roll, watches this and reads the comments! 🤘🎸👍
@@jessicawinslet684 What does Trump have to do with this? And are you serious? You don't think that the band looks like a gang of ugly girls. YOU, baby cakes, are truly in denial.
@@69zenos1 So watch rock videos and expect them to look like your hero david duke? LOL oh you poor thing. Welcome to the world of metal. I feel pity for you and you Conservative friends.
puta energia essa banda.. voltei a ter 15 anos.. som bom demais...
I love you Twisted Sister!

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I've been seeing them on local clubs on Long Island in the seventies and I never lost interest they were the best live band on Long Island
yes yes very cool ..Twisted Sister my Life - Can't Stop Rock n Roll !!!! 👍
Dee is the best!! 💗💗💗
Twisted Sister 4 Life! 👍😎💪
Dee actually after the band closed, came out with the "Radio Talkshow", called the House of Hair,.....Remember that? ❤❤❤❤❤
I think you could make a case for Dee being the best frontman in metal.
I've been watching TS Concerts all week. I was saying what a great front man Dee is.
Dee for sure is underated next level front man for sure.
Dee Snyder is a living legend in my book.
I would like to see Dee team up with Sebastian Bach and do maybe a 5 or 6 song Demo and then do some small club performances !! That would be something special bring in George Lynch on Guitar and fill out the rest however they see fit ??
he's got MY vote
😂 Twisted Blister 😂 Saw them 3 times.
Come Out and Play!!! \m/\m\m/
Look at the energy they`ve had in 2003 after almost 20 years of playing. Amazing. TS have been one of the most underrated metal bands ever.
