I don't believe that's true. You can't use a drone in the act of hunting. You are allowed to use them just not in a way that assist you in hunting an animal. So taking seeing shoots mid day is not a problem. However if I had a tag in my pocket I wouldn't chance it and leave the drone grounded.
An attack on one method of hunting is an attack on all hunting. Hunters need to stick together, he have enough trouble out of vegans and bureaucrats without attacking each other. This is single handedly what destroyed the fur trade.
