I purchased the same exact car, I absolutely love it. The exterior styling is unbelievably beautiful. Probably the most beautiful Cadillac production car of all time.

Hi…I bought one identical to yours….I bought from central Florida….I wanted this car when it was at the Chicago Auto Show…..I got one for a price I could afford….I paid for it without a loan….I’m excited….I did have a 2013 Volt LT….it was a fun car….but, I was uncomfortable….I’ll let you know how it goes!! I like your review

Thanks. I still enjoy this car and get a lot of compliments. I have made a few cross country type trips of 500 miles or so and find it OK. The seating position is a little low for me at 6-4”. On very long drives I take my truck. But around town this is a great car. I pay for the Sirius xm radio, weather and traffic package as well as the OnStar connectivity package. The my Cadillac app is the best way to use the navigation system. I am looking at putting in a 2016 head unit so I can get CarPlay. But it is still $1k.

I had a Volt….I was worried about how low it might be….I’m 6,2…I have knee issues, but I have a Lexus RX 400h….especially during the winter snows of Wisconsin….looking forward to having a fun car to have around!! I don’t have a 240v outlet….but, when I had my VOLT….never had issues charging, plus I can charge at work…it will be fine!

    About to buy one soon!
What are some of its cons that I might have to look out for?

      Dj Dinex Official
The only problem I have had is the Cue screen which I replaced myself for $150. There is a website. Cuescreens.com I think.

Cool Cool I appreciate your response.
What do you have to say about the ones with really high mileage? Will they break easily like regular cars?

I would compare to a Volt. Go into the Volt forums. Lot there. But there are lots of these ELRs for sale. Get what you want. Get all the options and colors you want. It is not a cheap used car. Gets a lot of attention.

But.... Its fuckin' electric🤦..who tf does this to a general motors product?..You wont be going on no long distance vacationing wit dat thang..& if you do make sure you hava' dam extention cord.."what a waste of a iconic car..😑👎

It has a 9 gallon gas tank. Drive as far as you want, just the first 35 miles are electric.

You haven't a clue what you are talking about, it drives as far as you want on gas like a normal car, but for daily commutes as long as it's around 40 miles you use no gas, duh! I've owned mine for a year now and put 7000 miles on it and have only filled up twice $48.00 total in gas. And approximately $200.00 in electricity. Dat why tf they do dat. 🤪

@@kencahill4 I have 195k on my Volt and 145k on my wifes. Works perfectly for any trip.

It’s a hybrid. It is powered by batteries and uses a gas powered engine to charge the batteries. 👍🏼
