Any thoughts on using an intercooler to get rid of the heat? Not much room in there, but I wonder how it would affect the performance while getting cold charge air?

20psi only blows up your engine if it isn't built for it, and you can't map.

Even though i cut my teeth on Minis @ just 14 and Love the A-Series especially with MODS/Cam-Belt instead of Rattling Chain, I would now at 51 do an B18 V-Tec Turbo with the Clubman front-End Because i had a Vey nice 1275GT at just 18 years Young And LOVED the extra SPACE under the Bonnet [HOOD] I;m fro South Wales [UK] And it would be a Coin-Flip between an A-Series with the Twin-Cam Conversion WITH a Turbo or just go for an B18 V-Tec with a Turbo. I have a Polo 1.6TDI 90BHP [Very Low Miles] BUT looking at these Minis i just WANT to get another and Do some serious MODS/Engine/Gearbox/Suspension/Wheels/Paint/SOUNDS.
